California's official state dinosaur, Augustynolophus morrisi, is currently on display at the Los Angeles Natural History Museum. The partial fossilized remains of the animals skull and tail are displayed near the remains of a Mosasaur also found in the state.

Here are some images I snaped while visiting the museum a couple of weeks ago:

Halichoeres

A cool idea for a toy line would be each US state's official fossil or dinosaur, if they have one. I think most do.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

Lanthanotus

Looks like a Saurolophus, doesn't it? But the horn is complete guess work it seems? I like the idea of the state fossil made into a figure though I am no American :)
