Mesonychid Paws and Hooves' Shapes?

So I'm curious as to what was likely the shape of mesonychid hooved paws/feet. Some of the paleoart I've seen depict them as canid-like paws with thick, stubby hooves at the ends, but I'm not certain how accurate the depictions are. I've not seen much that depicts the hooves like a doubly cloven hooved version of modern Artiodactyls like deer or sheep, but is that plausible?

I'm trying to do a rendering of mesonyx and thus wanted to know which would be the more accurate depiction.

Some mesonychids were plantigrade, but relatively derived forms like Mesonyx proper had hooves and were digitigrade, with four toes contacting the ground. To the best of my knowledge, which is limited, something like this is probably pretty plausible as far as the feet go:
