Sounds like it could be an interesting read. I've always enjoyed studying the Bone Wars. I seem to be one of the few people who likes Marsh better than Cope.

And geez, Crichton seems to be the Tupac Shakur of deceased writers.

Bigger than a camarasaurus,
and with a bite more stronger that the T-Rex bite,
Ticamasaurus is certainly the king of the Jurassic period.

With Balaur feet, dromaeosaurus bite, microraptor wings, and a terrible poison, the Deinoraptor Dromaeonychus is a lethal enemy for the most ferocious hybrid too.

Bad analogy, Tupac's not dead!  ;D
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

I've been enjoying Westworld, curious to read this.

Contrary to lack of extinct dinosaurs, Micro is my favorite of his books.

He died of cancer at age 66 in 2008.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

So I see. Either that news escaped me or I'd forgotten. At least we still have Tupac. Totally saw him at Coachella in 2012.

Was this written before or after he went all loopy, tho?

Micro is a great book. I was impressed at how Richard Preston was able to capture Crichton's style so well.

I read Micro on the recommendation of another member in a different thread and found it to be very entertaining. I am also amazed at how work from the Crichton stable continues to appear.
