I'm excited to finally be done with my very first "proper" diorama. There so many interesting shapeways models available now, I hope to do many more. Pictured are a pair of the Cryolophosaurus by gorgonzola, watching over their newly claimed nest site:

Indoor lighting with the tree (was still drying when I took the first set of photos)

Detail shots of the dinos:

More shots are in my signature link.

Bonus shot of the Krents raptors on the same base, featuring one of my husband's Warhammer models bird watching.

Those are pretty cool. Did you make the Cryolophosaurus's yourself?

"3,000 km to the south, the massive comet crashes into Earth. The light from the impact fades in silence. Then the shock waves arrive. Next comes the blast front. Finally a rain of molten rock starts to fall out of the darkening sky - this is the end of the age of the dinosaurs. The Comet struck the Gulf of Mexico with the force of 10 billion Hiroshima bombs. And with the catastrophic climate changes that followed 65% of all life died out. It took millions of years for the earth to recover but when it did the giant dinosaurs were gone - never to return." - WWD

I wish I was that talented! The Cryos were purchased from Shapways (made by user gorgonzola).

I always feel a bit of envy when I see someone able to properly use yellows when painting...

Awesome!
