First pre-Coniacian record of tyrannosauroids in eastern North America. It's only a metatarsal, so we don't know much about what it looked like, but it's biogeographically interesting, possibly suggesting that things like Appalachiosaurus were relicts left from before the middle of the continent was inundated.
