Recently, I had an opportunity to narrate a short documentary about one of the first women in North America to pursue a career in paleontology! Currently, the doc is being played on a screen in the museum itself, but anyone who wants to know more can also watch it on our website here:

That's a nice doc, and you did a great job on the narration! Do you do this sort of work professionally?

I must admit that, while I knew of Erwin Barbour, I had never heard of Carrie. I'm glad to learn a bit about her and see her get some attention.

Thanks! I'll pass your compliments on to the crew. I've been working for the public media studio for ages, nearly ten years, and I've done a lot of different kinds of work in that time. At present, I'm a producer (currently working on a cool paleo-themed virtual reality project that I can't share yet) but I've been doing voiceover for a couple of years now  :D

Yeah, Carrie Barbour was a great subject for this documentary specifically because even people who are "in the loop" in terms of mammal paleontology often don't know about her work!

Nice work on this piece! I was not previously familiar with either Barbour.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.
