A nice little clip, wehre the Baryonyx is replaced with a similar model to the one on the Jurassic World Website.
Looks far better than the one used in the film.

When you see them side by side like this, it really shows how drastically different the film's design is, and that said I was okay with it. It is also a really good example showing how averse to the fossil record the JW designs have been so far. It only takes a min or less to pull up Baryonyx skull's on google or wikipedia, but like they just chose not too. And this here also shows the anatomically accurate design convey's its danger in more or less the same way.

In comparison, while there were many notable inaccuracies or other fanciful elements (such as Dilophosaurus frill, Brachiosaurus chewing like a cow, etc), I think the JP trilogy still did a better job of working with the currently understood fossil material at the time, and in turn have things more grounded in reality, where as this certainly taken a step back, and hopefully another step forward with Dominion. While there definitely some things in the preview that grinded my gears, at least some things had been handled well.

This also gave me an idea, but it deserves its own thread really.

Personally I like the FK Baryonyx, not as a design in itself, but as a (IMO) successful attempt to maintain design consistency with the older creature designs. Yes this one looks better, but it would have felt odd to have the new dinosaurs look so different alongside the old ones without accompanying explanation.
