I'm gonna start a page for prehistoric-themed coloring books and pages. Everybody feel free to share your favorites!

I'll start. My absolute favorite so far is Diane Ramic's The Coloring Book of (Scientifically Accurate) Paleofauna. It's got a huge number of pages, with designs that make it easy to go as simple or as detailed as you like. Ramic also sells a seperate  Coloring Book of (Scientifically Accurate) Dinosaurs, but it is included in its entirety in the Paleofauna book. You can read more of my thoughts at Dino Dad Reviews:

(No, those aren't my scribblings on the left. Ramic includes some of her test versions for each of the illustrations on the opposing page.)

Here's another one I enjoyed: the Prehistoric Life in the National Parks coloring book. This one also allows for a wide range in skill level, with many of the more popular species rendered in simpler designs, while the more obscure ones tend to be more complex. Here's my post at Dino Dad Reviews:

I colored this Mcqueenoceras CARiniferum after a rather more famous McQueen...  ;)

I just downloaded the NPS one myself, I'm impressed.

A while back I bought several books from Stanton Fink, whose work most of us have seen on Wikipedia. In hand I have to say I don't really care for the art style, although I appreciate his focus on taxa that aren't often illustrated.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

Glad to see the National Parks ones here. I just stumbled upon those the other day. I think I'll print some of those out to give them a go.

I really like the choice of obscure animals for most of these aside from classics. Aside from the Paleozoic getting some representation here as well, I'm also quite glad to see some of my favorite prehistoric animals like the bat Icaronycteris got a page too (seriously check out the page for it though. It looks so happy):

And while looking at these, I can't help but wonder if there is anything out there for the Ediacaran biota? Many of those come in interesting "shapes" that would make for some interesting and fun coloring book pages I think.
