Would the Chap Mei ichthyosaurus work well as a stand in Ophtalmosaurus in the 1/40 scale range? I've been using mine for that and was wondering if it was the right size/shape.

I have the PNSO ophthalmosaurus and I can say that it is a superb figure, not only in terms of size but also in the beauty of the details.

Honestly, that marine reptile is not a great thing, but I would sincerely like to see it in person in order to complete my collection. Although unfortunately I now do war economy, so I can wait for that figure indefinitely.

BBC Andy's dinosaur adventures magazine Ophthalmosaurus. cute and stylised. shame about the paint job. could do with a repaint. hope that this mould gets reused by Chinese manufacturers and comes in different colours one day

Okay, heres what i'm currently working on.

i'm assembling all known renditions of the panini Ichthyosaur, so I can own them all... 3/13. 10 to go!
