I was really pleased with my PNSO when I opened the box on Christmas day, there were a few things I thought needed improvements, the normal mold lines, gap in the articulated jaw etc, which I set about sorting.
The other things I was not so keen on were the dark odd shaped lines and the base. I had decided not to do anything about the paint work or the base because I had planned to get the new Doyle however because the new one looks so very different (almost like a different spices) I decided to do the extra work.

I have faded down some of the lines and also added a few stripes on one side so it matches the other.

The base has been repainted, shadowed and dry brushed.

John :)

Original out of the box but with mold lines and jaw sorted.......

Post paint adjustments........

New look base..........

I really like what you did to the base. So much more natural looking.

It has been much better than the original. The base repainted and with a new look has been great. Spectacular work.
