Wanted to share this really cool animation of one of my favorite Monsterverse scenes. Was really hoping for a scene like this in GxK. Would have been cool to have something like this to take place in a dream sequence, perhaps while Godzilla is evolving and right before he breaks out of the ice. Hopefully he'll get more moments like this in Wingard's next film.

It's a nice one. You sorta get it when he meets Mothra in Egypt, but they just didn't dwell on it long enough to feel anything.

Finally watched the film.

Spoiler
So it seems most of the movie was really about Kong, with some backstory about his home, with most of it taking place in the Hidden Earth.

I'm really glad Shimo survived at the end of it all, and the scratches Kong gave her were so cute.

It definitely felt like a campy Showa series film, but was enjoyable. I really hope we get a figure of Tiamat from Hiya Toys, even if she had like 2 secs of screentime before getting obliterated by Godzilla lol. Design reminds me of Mizutsune from Monster Hunter a bit. That said I did see Playmates will be releasing a figure of her later in the year (and a new Mothra). Not sure if anyone shared this here yet, but just in case:

Edit: Before I forget, glad we got another scene with Doug.

I didn't sit through the credits, but just to be sure there was no post credits scene right?
