My mom told me about this, so I did a web search and found this article.

Quite the amazing discovery. Apparently others were discovered too making this one of the best ichthyosaur sites on the planet. I remember the exciting ones found last year too. Quite a good time to be a marine reptile and ichthyosaur fan I imagine.

I saw something about this interesting find on Facebook through Dean Lomax's posts on the expedition. What dreadful weather conditions for a dig. Tough people!

So it sounds like this doesn't have a name yet? I guess it could be referable to something like Caypullisaurus. Really cool find, I guess its recovery from a melting glacier is one of the few silver linings of a warming planet.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres That's honestly what I thought last night as well. That and any more Pleistocene period mummies, assuming they are discovered in time from the thawing permafrost before rotting away, or getting eaten by scavengers I guess.
