Welp, two more sets to track down... Do you plan on getting these sets with the new species avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin ?
Still wondering if the previous (latest?) wave with the Kryptops has received widespread distribution yet.

Faelrin

avatar_Flaffy @Flaffy I haven't had the chance to check with packing the apartment and my brother having to do door dash all day every day to keep us here, unfortunately. The video above had this Japanese Mattel website listed.

I'm not sure if those are currently available there or not. If they are I think avatar_brettnj @brettnj could help. Anyways it's where the images are from anyways.

avatar_Flaffy @Flaffy does this statement about re-releases of the HC figures apply only to Toypolis UK, and therefore only the UK, or that Mattel will do re-runs also in the US (and maybe other parts of the world...). Because believe it or not, its cheaper to import them from the US than buying from Toypolis UK, even if the UK is closer to my country...

I ask because the way it is written it sounds more like is a UK thing only.

Also, if they do re-runs they probably won't retool a dropping, maybe tighten up some joints, some minor changes in the paint..etc.

Not sure sorry. This is all news coming exclusively from Toyopolis, so hopefully Mattel or some other retailer will make an announcement soon on HC re-runs.

For me, ordering from local UK sources works out to be about the same price as importing from say BBTS. VAT + higher shipping cost makes importing from the US unattractive for me. Plus it'd be easier to sort out any potential returns/refunds with a local source (I assume). But when I was back in Hong Kong, I understand your struggle as I had to import everything from overseas pretty much.

Thanks to avatar_Takama @Takama  for the help acquiring these!

Ah, I've been meaning to get that Edaphosaurus... I've got a soft spot for non-dinosaur Jurassic products no matter how ugly they are. ;)

Doesn't seem to be available anywhere in the UK unfortunately :'(

I've not seen it in any of my local stores. Takama found this on at a Best Buy. I had it preordered last year on Amazon and they recently canceled my order.

Everyone is finding these things at Best Buy, I checked mine today and nothing. Third time I've checked over the last few months.  :-\

That's the way it is here. I've never found anything at our Best Buys.

In Canada where I am I'm seeing them pretty consistently at Walmart.
The set with Nothosaurus has started showing up as well.

stargatedalek

Darn, haven't found them yet here.

Gwangi

I was finding stuff at Best Buy about a year ago, that's where I got my Shringasaurus. But they don't even have spots on the shelves for Jurassic World anymore. As for Walmart, mine is still carrying stock from several months to a year ago. The ED Dimetrodon and Velociraptor, Quilmesaurus, Ampelosaurus, Rajasaurus, etc. Even the minis are wave 1 minis and the Captivz are the Dominion Captivz. It's frustrating.

Same here. I recall when those were hard to find around a year ago, people were ordering them from Amazon.co.jp .  Walmart I don't think understands clearance sales. The Avatar Way of Water toys were in the clearance aisle the week after the film came out for half price, other toys are there marked down by 1.00 and toys that have been on the shelf for around a year ( like jurassic ) are still full price.  Maybe it's a store to store thing or they just have a ton of back stock, it's moving but we can't tell it is?

Amazon has sent me a few updates on my preorders requesting I approve new time frames for release. So keep an eye out on those. You don't get much time to approve before they cancel it.

Flaffy

Both of the newest HC juveniles are immensely disappointing compared to their wave mates.

Faelrin

In case anyone wanted it and missed it earlier, I noticed the JPIII set with Grant and the female raptor is back up for retail price, after being out of stock for a bit:

I remember that wave with the Tanystropheus having virtually no store presence and then all of a sudden they were on Amazon for retail price and stayed there for a long time. I'm hoping something like that happens again. If not then all well. I've gotten pretty complacent about the distribution issues. I get what I can and shrug off what I can't. There's always hope for a repaint eventually too.  Target is usually well stocked but they pretty much refuse to stock smaller Attack Pack style figures so that's usually what I miss out on.
