The raptor pen is a definite must. It'd also be a good excuse to get figures of JP workers, maybe even Jophrey?

Exactly we're getting one worker from JW with the new truck set..just go all out and give us this huge playset.

Carnoking

How about a Visitor Center playset

I would be totally cool with that. A "Super Colossal" Compy is something I've been wanting from Mattel.

Right? I'll take that..probably a pack of em. lol

I've read we are getting a SC Indoraptor for next year. There are usually a couple SCs a year now.  Is the 30th Anniversary line ONLY covering JP?   Just wanting to be sure they aren't sneaking in anything else from other films.

It should be Jurassic Park only, if you ask me. But it probably won't be.

I would be OK with Kenner repaints and even Chaos sculpts..really need an official Ultimasaurus.

Kenner repaints would be great. I was so excited when they released that Kenner Gallimimus. I don't personally care for Chaos figures but Mattel needs to release playsets, starting with the gates.

Faelrin

avatar_Carnoking @Carnoking That's been something I've been wanting for years now. Long over due for one from them. Would love it could be opened and closed, to show both the exterior and interior. I imagine such a set in scale would probably be well over $100 but I would try to shell out for it.

Alternatively I'd shoot for a new take on the gate and fences as Kenner before did (even if I have the re-released JPIII version hanging around). I mean they did a mini version of it in the Advent Calendar set.

I feel like it's kind of a no-brainer for the gates to get a Mattel release. I could definitely see that being the SDCC Exclusive this year, maybe with some kind of dino to go with it. Either way, those are a big need.

New minis:

https://www.instagram.com/p/CjmuXN5Kexb/

-Kentrosaurus & Sarcosuchus
-Amargasaurus & Herrerasaurus (based on the original mold)
-Sinoceratops & Concavenator
-Ceratosaruus & Ankylosaurus
-Dimetrodon & Stegosaurus
-Allosaurus & Pteranodon
-Majungasaurus & Ouranosaurus
-Triceratops & Velociraptor Blue
-Stygimoloch & Suchomimus

Hoping there's a more film accurate coloration for the Kentrosaurus. Would also prefer the original Primal Attack Sarcosuchus coloration too. Nice to see the Allosaurus and Dimetrodon being released in these sets, versus being exclusives to those multipack sets. Nice to see the Amargasaurus finally get a mini. So glad we've gotten some of the older species in the new batch of minis (between this year and next year's upcoming ones) from both the Dino Rivals and Primal Attack/Camp Cretaceous lines.

Gwangi

Somewhat cruel for them to give us a mini Amargasaurus instead of a re-release.

Faelrin

A proper re-release would be very nice, and long overdue. One of their better bigger sculpts, and shame it hasn't had another chance in the spotlight since. That goes for a few others too like the Scutosaurus, etc. This makes me think I should add a section to that mainline figures thread, which figures still don't have repaints, or what have you. That said I do enjoy the minis so I'm glad we'll finally have a mini one. Always felt it was a missed opportunity in 2019 when all they did was repacks for the 2019 mini line (aside from special chase figures), and no new sculpt. Now we'll have the Dino Rivals Suchomimus, Stegosaurus, Concavenator in both colorations, the Amargasaurus, Nasutoceratops, and possibly any others I might be missing. Granted Concavenator also has that upcoming HC figure so also good timing for a mini finally (although technically came first in Dominion's line up).

How is there still no mini Microceratus?
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

Agree. Mattel could use this as an opportunity to make all kinds of small critters that would scale with the humans. Too risky I guess. At least I got my Lystrosaurus.

Faelrin

Or heck even another standard sized one, considering how small that one was. Last one was in the Destruct-A-Saurs sets released back in 2018. Feels like a missed opportunity to not make one (or two) considering they were in Dominion.

Hammond Collection Geosternbergia and Ankylosaurus were today's beyond the gates reveal

CityRaptor

Nice.
*Remembers that HC is US Exclusive.*
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

YES! JP3 Ankylosaurus!

Shipping and import taxes here we go...

Flaffy

Was gonna be excited about this... But its come to my attention that Mattel's been pulling this line back from international markets, and instead keeping it a US exclusive. :-\

Toyopolis had cancelled my preorder for the HC Ceratosaurus, pretty much removed all listings of the Hammond Collection from their site. Very frustrating.

That's nothing, with the exception of the T.rex being available from Amazon.es (actual amazon, not 3d party sellers) there has been no distribution of the HC collection in my country.

It's either using Amazon USA (if it ships to your country) or BigBadToyStore. Which means extra shipping and import taxes.

Carnoking

I was not expecting that at all. Figured it would just be the official launch of the new raptors/Grant, Muldoon, or Concavenator

Eatmycar

The Anklyosaurus looks... good? I hate the Jurassic design so I'm not enthralled about it?

But they forgot to paint the toe claws and the spike below the eye? What's the deal with that?

Gwangi

The Geosternbergia looks decent enough. I'll likely get that one. I like that it can be posed in a resting position and I've always been a fan of Crash's concept art for it.

The Ankylosaurus I'm less excited about. I'm glad they're finally making a JP3 Ankylosaurus but I'm not much of a fan of the franchise's Ankylosaurus design, or JP3 for that matter. I have the Roar Attack Bumpy and see no real need for an articulated Ankylosaurus. The segmented tail is pretty cool but if it's anything like the Trike the articulation in general won't be terribly exciting.

Lynx

I feel like if it's not a popular theropod dinosaur, Mattel screws it up.

An oversized house cat.
