Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

(it needs grammar and punctuation first, the last few posts are a garbled mess that make absolutely no sense! :P "He was doomed the Deinonychus leader ripping and bulging with muscles kicking Stinky to Mars!". Let's kick off with a new one  ;) )

Once upon a time

Good idea  :D Let's see if we can get a bit of punctuation in the first sentence...
If you will permit me to modify your start with a colon:

Once upon a time: the time of late Cretaceous Alberta...

(Hehe, but there is no need for that colon! A comma would suffice. Hey, when did I become the resident grammatical tyrant?! Also, we still need to limit ourselves to four words each, or else it isn't a challenge. So, where were we? Once upon a time, in the time of late Cretaceous Alberta,)

I... but... surely.... Oh drat.
I don't mean to start a grammatical dispute, but the colon explains/expands upon the sentence before it, i.e. the 'time' in this case.... Doesn't it?
Oh well.  :-[

It does, but it is superfluous in this case. Just as if I were to say 'it is superfluous and unnecessary'.  ;D :))

Oh, gosh, I'm taking this thread off course, eek! I'd better atone by joining in at least.
