We are currently optimizing and upgrading our production line. In the future, we will strive to further optimize our price range so that everyone can easily purchase new products. Yes, many things need to be done, and we need to work harder to make the product better.

I am really looking forward to see some of the new products for next year. I have purchased two of all your large sauropod figures because they are so amazing and I hope to see some more thunder feet next year.

I would have some suggestions for the future:

1) Spend some effort and investment into the optimization of the molding process. Some recent figures had issues with the production quality, i.e. areas with glassy and molten looking surface which would partially obliterate the fine and well sculpted skin texture. This is a technical problem of the production process, not a problem of research and design.

2) Consider applying a thicker layer of primer which would better cover areas of the surface of the figures which are potentially affected by molding issues.

3) Consider extending your color palette even more. You have made very clever use of the palette that you have by applying layering and gradients, but of course having more colors at disposal will increase your possibilities.

Quote from: ceratopsian on December 18, 2024, 10:22:08 AMSurprisingly similar coloration and very sober.  I think they would display nicely as a pair though - the brighter jade frill might suggest sexual dimorphism/display.

I do really like both variants I have to say.

This is a new design concept, instead of having two variants with very different colors but similar pattern we now have two variants which have similar colors but different accents on the frill.

The horizontal length of 15 cm is considerably shorter than the PNSO so it will appeal to people who thought that the PNSO is a bit too large.

ceratopsian

Yes, I was pkeased to note the different accents on the frills.

Indeed really nice and a cool idea! Congrats!

The Styracosaurus are a little underwhelming for my taste. Will skip them.

Kinda dissapointed that the Styracos are so bland in color. It's like they were the same but they added a different tint to each one in the photo editor.

Joliezac

I'll wait to see reviews of the Styracos, because Haolonggood models usually look better in person, but I'm not really loving their dull colors. Maybe I will pick up PNSO's. I don't mind that it is too big.

Beautiful Styracosaurus but I am content with Safari's (love Safari's sculpt, hate the paint, but not enough to replace it)

Ajax88

Initially I was disappointed in the muted color scheme of the Styracosaurs, but I am happy to see the slightly jade-colored frill on the second color morph. The sculpt and pose look very good, and the scale is perfect, so I will likely pick one of these up. Styracosaurus being my favorite Ceratopsian, it's hard to resist.

Really liking the four-eyed turtle inspiration on the jade frill Styracosaurus. Great price too at $17.

Still feel like Styracosaurus is one of those dinosaurs that demands a flamboyant colour scheme.

Faelrin

Kind of surprised they are so dull (frills aside) when all the previous ceratopsians were colorful. Styracosaurus is my favorite ceratopsian so I'm biased. Granted PNSO's was also too dull for me. That said I own the Safari one and the BotM one, and both are colorful.

Turkeysaurus

One is brown, other is green. Both muddy colors though.

PNSO is better but less price and size (for those care scaling) makes HLG somewhat charming.

Overall i'm disappointed and surprised Styracosaurus of all ceratopsians seems like a bit afterthought.

ceratopsian

My "purple" Argentinosaurus arrived today, complete with the coveted Huayangosaurus.  I like the designation on the box for the 001 - "Unsung Hero".  He's magnificent.  Even having read so often how massive he is, the sheer bulk across his back surprises me.  Posters are printed on excellent quality card and attractive - but not sure what I'll do with them.  I'll have a think.

SidB

Ordered the brown one. Figured that it would be the better stand alongside for my PNSO Styraco.

Curious what about makes it seem like an afterthought? Is it just the lack of bright colors or the sculpt?

In terms of paint app it seems much better than other ceratopsians they have put out. Much less gaudy and better applied imo.

DefinitelyNOTDilo

Yeah I think this is one of their better ceratopsians tbh. Def better than Kosmo and Chasmo imo

Yes , color selection and patterns on body is very underwhelming for be.

Basically very uninspired muddy colors on body and a few random splotches here and there. I like "the eyes" on frill but even that also not that creative nowadays.

It's odd for a haolonggood ceratopsian. In fact only interesting thing about this one is comes from animal's own design.

Styracosaurus is my favorite ceratopsian so i still like it and might buy it but for example i had no interest in buying Sinoceratops & utahceratops until i saw their colors and patterns.

Styracosaurus must be 2nd or 3rd famous ceratopsian and overall one of the most famous dinosaurs. That also put expectations high.

Flaffy

The paint scheme is good, just unfortunately not the right fit for Styracosaurus (for completely aesthetic reasons).

I feel it would've been far more appropriate on the upcoming(?) Udanoceratops, or any basal ceratopsid for that matter.
