Hmm, too bad he can't get the egg.

Hell yeah! Looks like Minizoo is going to start stocking Recur.

Minizoo is so cool.
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

Yes, that's good news.

^Not bad overall! At least a few of those sculpts are probably more "inspired" than is ideal, but generally speaking the quality looks pretty good; and the diversity of critters is nice too!

The non-dinosaurs are easily the standouts of the set imo. Would've been tempted by the set if I didn't already have better representations of those species in my collection already (save for the Tupandactylus).

A Baryonyx with a paddle tail was surely unexpected... :o

Dang... someone want to split the set with me?

I think everyone would want the same ones!

Now the trick is actually finding them. MiniZoo doesn't list the mini sets yet

Yeah, the same 5 or 6 interesting figures. Who needs the rexes or Triceratopses?

I found them on Amazon but idk if it's international or not.

Some of them (okay, most) would look good with a hobbyist-inspired paint job. Though they aren't bad anyways, by any means.

It's pretty expensive to order from .com

Georassic

Here's the direct link on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DNDSDXT8
I just searched and did not find it anywhere else, as of now.

Pricewise, I guess value depends on how many minis a collector is targeting from this set. As avatar_crazy8wizard @crazy8wizard noted, many of us will likely want the same half-dozen-ish figures. At Amazon's $39.99USD price, it works out to about $6-$8USD per figure if you only want 5-7 of them.

I'm on the fence with this set. I'll likely wait til someone posts a more detailed accuracy review of the figures I'm considering. :-\

avatar_Georassic @Georassic As far as sculpts go:

-Ankylosaurus is pretty retro looking
-Baryonyx has a speculative paddle like tail
-Brachiosaurus seems like it is actually Giraffatitan based on the head shape
-Carnotaurus might be missing the feature scales as of the 2021 paper? Was hard for me to tell
-Dimorphodon is in the Papo figure pose
-Giganotosaurus head looks based on the older longer reconstruction, not the post Meraxes shorter one
-Mosasaurus seems based on the Jurassic World design
-Therizinosaurus has a Deinocheirus head (like their newer larger one)
-Tupandactylus crest sail shape is based on pre-2022 paper reconstruction (edit: for T. imperator I mean)

Some of these are perhaps more problematic then others (like the Mosasaurus), but I'd say the majority of the included figures are pretty decent as far as sticking to the current reconstructions goes, or close enough.

Honestly I like the majority of this set, so the full price is worthwhile to me (though a sale would be more ideal).
