I'm not too concerned about that. I paid through PayPal so getting refunded for an item not arriving is usually pretty easy there. That being said, I'd still be looking to lose plenty of money if I decided to try and get one elsewhere instead  :-[

I'm probably gonna resort to that, since I missed out earlier, but not before getting my hands on the Spinosaurus, assuming I can nab one, hopefully when it goes in stock on BBTS. Absolutely terrible how it has been handled here.

Mattel custom service from what I know is not the best to the point is inexistence...collectjurassic got some problems with the rex.
Between the time when the oceans drank Atlantis and the rise of the sons of Aryas, there was an age undreamed of. And unto this, Conan, destined to wear the jeweled crown of Aquilonia upon a troubled brow. It is I, his chronicler, who alone can tell thee of his saga. Let me tell you of the days of high adventure!

We have seen new HC images. I'm betting they continue with the Rebirth branding or at least logos for next year. No idea what reimagined might be..so far it's been mostly let downs.  I'm betting we get the Indominus Rex HC next year.  If Chaos Theory really ends with this next season that will be one semi-line gone, but not til they make a few more figures for it.

It doesnt mean that. Look lego, they took a break for 2015 to 2018. And lego is still making sets.
Probably will be a no name line. And of course Indominus will have an HC, weird they didnt announced for the 10th anniversary for JW.
Chaos Theory will end in season 4, it doesnt have material to extend the biosyn valley enough.
I cant take seriously these kiddos pass the italian alps with no problem and found exactly the biosyn valley location and enter this site without any problem. Like I said to other friends its like UAC from Doom or Weyland Yutani from Alien has a special door for spies.

Mattel has retail space with Target and walmart they have to fill, they can't take a break or they can lose shelf space which would probably mean a dead line.  Lego has licenses plus their own branding, they aren't a single license by a larger company.

Chaos theory might end but there isa slim chance they might continue the series somehow if it was profitable enough.

Sometimes Target would lose a package to a black hole area. There are shipping centers that are old and overflowing and understaffed. I've had one enter such a place in GA once and it just never moved. Target refunded me. I think it was the HC Giga?   I do also have packages stall at a center in NC that takes longer than normal, once a month for a package from Ebay to move.

i used to wonder how packages could possibly 'get lost'.  I figured they had to turn up at some point, somewhere and get sent to the recipient.  I've had that happen a couple of times, received packages months after i was refunded for them for being 'lost'.

However others have never arrived and i figure those were most likely sent to a foreign nation by mistake and never sent back, accidentally destroyed (eg crushed by a sorter or delivery truck) and then discarded or were just outright stolen.

Well, I might have shot myself in the foot with my order. I was in such a hurry in the moment that I didn't catch that my PayPal order had defaulted to my PO Box instead of my residential address. This has happened before when ordering online, but the seller either reaches out and requests a residential address or FedEx delivers the package to USPS for last mile shipping. In fact, as I recall, that's exactly what they did for the last couple SDCC Mattel Creation exclusives, and although it does lead to an added step and understandable delays, I've never had one get completely lost.

After filing a case with USPS, I was informed that there are no records from USPS of this package on the delivery manifest from FedEx for the day in question despite being scanned as handed off to USPS for last mile delivery. USPS says this can happen if there is a faulty label on the box (damaged or otherwise unable to scan) in which event the package has to be dealt with manually which can add time, especially for larger boxes. But I'm not sure what a reasonable length of time is to expect for such a delay, and at this point I'm beginning to wonder if it might be a case of sticky fingers.

so i broke down and ordered a Titanosaurus off Amazon today.  I've debated for a long time whether to get it or not and finally caved...heh.  It wasn't until after i ordered that i noticed that, even though it said it was 'in stock' on Amazon it won't be shipping until Oct 2.  wth?  That's not 'in stock', that's a preorder...grr.  To make matters worse they already charged my card for it when Amazon usually doesn't charge you until an item is about to ship.

It was interesting to note that the preorder or whatever it was, sold out in less than a few hours...so it seems to be a popular sucker.

You can try contacting the shipper and seeing if they will cancel/refund/replace the order.  I've had Walmart and Target do that and if the package shows up you just keep it.

HC Spinosaurus is up for pre-order on Entertainment Earth. Nearly as much as a scalper's (low end), with the cheapest shipping ($20 for me), but better then not at all. Hoping Amazon, BBTS, and Target get this one in stock again so I can cancel it there and save money.

Edit: Stegosaurus too, but why get it there when it can be gotten cheaper elsewhere.

btw, for Canadians, WM Canada has lowered the price back down again for the HC Spinosaurus.  It's now $69.97 CAD again.  It went up by about $20 a couple of weeks or so ago but it's been lowered back down.  Still the same Jan 2026 delivery date though.
