TRIVIA---countdown to Halloween.
In Ray Harryhausen's 1953 THE BEAST FROM 20,000 FATHOMS, the doctor who warns the Army that the wounded Rhedosaurus' blood contains deadly bacteria that threatens all of New York was played by Michael Fox. When Canadian actor Michael Fox applied for membership in the Screen Actors Guild, he saw that Michael Fox was already registered, so he chose Michael J. Fox with the "J" being a tribute to his favorite actor, Michael J. Pollard.




In THE BEAST FROM 20,000 FATHOMS, Michael Fox (left) played the doctor who warns the Army that the wounded Rhedosaurus' blood contains deadly bacteria that threatens all of New York.
