So I still have not decided if I will go with the Bronto or not.

On one hand the colour-variants are both very attractive (especially the brown one) & the price so low for a beast like this plus base, on the other hand I just don't "need" a Brontosaurus because I have already the Apatosaurus and I have no nostalgic feelings for the genus Brontosaurus.
When I grow up there was only Apatosaurus, even if some movies, magazines (and even the underside of the Invicta Apatosaurus) mentioned the name Brontosaurus. And I always said to everyone arround me that the Bronto was actually an Apato. :))

I really hoped personally that HLG would release the Diplodocus instead of or before the Brontosaurus. That would be something I can't pass on.

I guess I have decide quickly because the price is hot and the base is so cool. And, of course, the model itself looks awesome

Same here. Given how similar it already is to Apatosaurus, they really should have tried to distinguish it a bit more with the colour scheme. Unless you're a big fan of the genus or you don't have the Apatosaurus yet, it just feels like buying the same thing again.
One day we will know the truth about Spinosaurus... but not today.

Yes. I think that thought came yesterday to my mind too.

I'm actually very happy with this Brontosaurus!  I love the colouration of the orange one and it's made me decide to collect Haolonggood 1:35 sauropods instead of 1:40 or smaller ones by other companies.  I had the orange Haolonggood Apatosaurus in the past and I intend to purchase it again as well as the orange Brontosaurus!  I just need to make room for them now...  I'm really happy this Brontosaurus ended a streak of me now being interested in having Haolonggood figures this year!  The Brontosaurus has made me interested in the Haolonggood Diplodocus too.  It should be coming soon I think...

Apparently I'm one of the few or the only one on the forum getting the grey Brontosaurus. I already have the Nanmu and Papo Apatosaurus, but I want the HLG grey Brontosaurus because when I was a kid, I had the original Marx dinosaur blister pack which included a green Brontosaurus and the nursery school I attended later had a full-size Brontosaurus replica (see link).

It's funny you say that because I have already ordered the orange one but Turkeysaurus posted some closer up images of both of them and I'm kind of regretting not going with grey. It definitely looks more natural and I don't think I have enough of that color in my collection.
Just because I have a short attention span doesn't mean

The Brontosaurus seemed a little small, so I wanted to have a relative size comparison.

Based on the information on Aliexpress, the following dimensions are specified:

Acording to this the Brontosaurus is 0.5 cm longer in length and 2.2 cm shorter in height than the Camarasaurus.
Compared to the Apatosaurus, he is 9.5 cm shorter in length and 2.8 cm higher.

Carnoking posted some beautiful pictures of the Camarasaurus and Apatosaurus compared to the Brachiosaurus with some black background.
I hope he doesn't mind, I used 2 of his pictures as a reference scale for the analysis.

Here I resized the Brontosaurus to be a little longer and a little shorter than the Camarasaurus.
I put 2 images of Brontosaurus for height and length comparison:

And here is the comparison with the Apatosaurus, we can see that Brontosaurus is a little taller, but from length point of view he is shorter.
The difference in size cannot be justified only by the angle of the neck on the Brontosaurus compared to the Apatosaurus.
It is a smaller individual, the neck and tail are shorter, the shoulders are lower as well as the hips.

The Apatosaurus is 66 cm long from the snout to the tip of the tail, resulting in 23.1 meters long in 1:35 scale.
I used an online tool to measure along the spine based on the 2nd photo:
 - 31.34 total measured on the picture is 23.1 m for Apatosaurus.
 - this would make the Brontosaurus measured at 21.13, about 15.57 meters for 1:35 scale.

Ofcourse all the analysis is relative, so a video review should clarify better the size.

Brontosaurus was known to be smaller than both Apatosaurus and Camarasaurus supremus. The latter weighed around 40 tons; Brontosaurus weighed only 20 tons.

Huh... you know the grey might actually be more appealing to me.

I bought the grey. I had no doubt with this!

Turkeysaurus

I think Brontosaurus will be longer than both PNSO & HLG Camarasaurus.

PNSO Camarasaurus has a strongman build , also shorter tail and raised hips. 46 cm along the centra despite looking lika a giant.

Haolonggood does most dinosaurs slimmwr compared to PNSO , Camarasaurus is no exception. It's 46 cm along the centra.

Brontosaurus has longer a lot longer tail. Tail has many curves and neck is slightly curved and probably even body has some.

My rough calculations they are around same lenght without accounting curves.

I think It will be more or less 55-57 cm along the centra. That would make 19-20 metre for 1:35.

Flaffy

I think the orange dorsal spines are a very nice touch.

Turkeysaurus

I'm glad it has different colored head and neck. They should stop with colored tail tips and change it up some times like this.

Faelrin

Glad the blue head is stronger on the brown one. Certainly not a repeat of the brown Apatosaurus in that regard. And if one got the grey Apatosaurus prior, it'll stand out nicely next to it. Or vice versa.

So other then Diplodocus(?) I wonder what sauropods they'll do next. They've definitely filled in the gaps of many collections with the vast amount of genera they've done so far.

I used to think CollectA was the best at sauropods, with Eofauna a very close second, but I now give that achievement to Haolonggood.  They've become masters at sauropods and the representation they've given them exceeds what any other company has done.  Then there's also that Haolonggood's sauropods are at 1:35 scale so they scale well with most dinosaur figures I collect and give them a presence only that can give.  I intend to mostly replace my sauropod figures with Haolonggood's versions where that is possible.  The exception would be the Papo Apatosaurus, as I prefer it to Haolonggood's version of the animal and I think I can have both.  The ideal would be Haolonggood releasing a better Apatosaurus, but I don't imagine they'll do that in the foreseeable future.

Maybe Ruyangosaurus as it's been confirmed to be coming.  Or Dreadnoughtus if that silhouette is really it.
