Half tempted to get the purple variant (the orange came with my brach) but I think I'd rather put that ~30 dollars towards other HLG figures

Maybe the reason they are so eager not to show it's face since first image (blur pic as well) maybe prototypes don't have lips but mass production will have lips ?

They added thumb spike to Ouranosaurus after complains. Maybe they are fixing after first reactions this time?

Or maybe i am in denial.

Haolonggood seems to be a bit late with their first release after the Chinese New Year holidays, if we compare with previous years. I would think that they got so many orders for Brachiosaurus that this kept them busy for a while after production has resumed. Probably many orders were placed after the pre-order period was over and in hand pictures started to appear on social media.

My "blue" Brachiosaurus arrived today.  It's beautiful.  Excellent, detailed paintwork. The exposed teeth are tiny and don't impinge from normal viewing distance.  I was hoping for the purple Huayangosaurus but out of luck, as it's the brown version.  Still looks good next to his green fellow.

Glad you're pleased! Maybe you'll get another crack at the purple Huayangosaurus with their next big sauropod.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

I have green but i like the purple Huayangosaurus most. I heard green one has better painting, is that true or all same?

suspsy

Still no Tyrannosaurus rex reveal. How delightful it would be if it turned out they've decided to delay it so that they can add the lips.

I can but hope, avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres!  Then I'd have a distinct herd of Huayangosaurus.  (Speaking of which, I'm booked for a Zoom to hear Susie Maidment talk on stegosaurians tonight.)

Hi, I would have a purple Huayangosaurus which I do not need. I have a green and a brown one, so I could easily part with the purple.

So far it would seem that the Huayangosaurus color is not random, people who got the blue Brachiosaurus got the orange one, and people who got the orange Brachiosaurus (like me) got the purple one. Not sure which one comes with the green Brachiosaurus.

Daspletodave

I got the green Brachiosaurus and it came with the green Huayangosaurus.

Carnoking

My orange brach actually came with the orange Huayangosaurus

Turkeysaurus

I thought green was for Argentinosaurus only.

I got the blue Brachiosaurus but received the purple Huayangosaurus. Although I did ask for the purple so that could be why.

Crap, so it is random...

This is what I thought as well. Question is if this was a pre-ordered one. If not, Haolonggood may just have been kind and added a leftover green one.

Seems that some people who ordered after the pre-order period ended got a Huayangosaurus as well. Actually I ordered a second Brachiosaurus in February and it also came with Huayangosaurus.

ceratopsian

It makes sense that some who did not preorder still managed to get a Huayangosaurus. I imagine that the company looked at the number of preorders and set a production level that was somewhat higher. Also sellers will presumably have preordered but not necessarily sold everything immediately.

I'm one of those. I didn't preorder and still got a Huayangosaurus.
