Again this falls under the category of "How did I miss this until now?" Extremely nice foreground and accessory work. The JP kitchen details are amazing. Like ARUL asks did you do "the unfortunate showdown" in this years contest? If yes how did you do the rain?

Hello! Well, I didn't do that diorama set or join any competition :D I just like to recreate the scenes from jurassic park cos it's quite fun and challenging! Regarding the kitchen, I had to search for the pots and pans online cos I'm not that good in making man made items. There's actually no rain in the t-Rex breakout scene. Do you mean the puddles of water? I used ez-water which are beads of plastic and all I did was place those beads in the hole and use a lighter to melt it.

Hope it helps!

Perfect, i like your diorama  :D let me guess...the unfortunate showdown, diorama contest 2014. Is that yours ?  :P

Oh no no, I didn't do that diorama or join any contest. I'm just doing it for fun :)

Arul

Ohh really    :-\ do you have another dino diorama which is still wip now ?  :D

Paleogene Pals

Oh yeah, I'm planning the layout and materials needed for the "brachiosaurus sneeze" scene in jurassic park.
Basically I wanted to use Papo's brachiosaurus and figured that the sneeze scene was more fun than the one whereby the characters saw a living dinosaur for the first time.

Hello everyone, this particular project really pushed the limits in terms of jungle scene and this is perhaps one of my biggest diorama so far. Hope you like it!

[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

No, I was actually talking about the diorama from the contest which you apparently didn't do. That one had a very effective rain effect. It seems the builder still hasn't come forward since I asked the same question on the contest thread.

Wonderful jungle scene! And great use of the Papo Brachiosaurus! I've e been waiting for someone to make this scene and you pulled it off masterfully!

Sorry but I have no clue which diorama you are referring to  ??? Perhaps you can paste a link for me to see? Thank you!

Thank you ARUL and Dinomike :) Glad you guys like it. I'll be spending the next few weeks learning to sculpt 1/35 scale people from scratch because I'm planning to do the Parasaurolophus scene in The Lost World when it's been captured by INGEN. I think it's gonna look pretty cool :)

It's # 47 in the 2014 Diorama contest but don't worry about it since you said you didn't enter the contest so it wasn't yours. I was specifically asking the builder how he or she did the rain but he or she has not answered so far.
Here is the link FYI http://dinotoyblog.com/dioramas_2014/47.jpg I am pretty sure the rain was photoshopped.

Wow it looks really good! Hahaha, yes, as a graphic designer, the rain is photoshopped.   ;)

And you can see why ARUL and I thought it was yours.
Anyway your dioramas are great as I have said and I love your latest "brachiosaurus sneeze" effort. You should really enter next years contest, but you will have to save one, the entries can't be posted anywhere before the contest.

Hahaha, thank you :) Nah, I'm not really keen in joining a competition, I'm quite happy just making diorama scenes of Jurassic Park :D I'm currently practicing how to sculpt 1/35 scale body parts and soon I'll need to cut up the Papo Parasaurolophus and readjust it's posture to make it look epic!
