Blade-of-the-Moon

I think it's pretty cool to actually have high valued pieces or  "grails " to try and strive for.  With each one you manage to acquire it sort of elevates your collection a bit I think..makes you proud to have worked so hard and invested in something you love.

Lot with Battat Diplodocus. It's a little scuffed but the price is great. http://www.ebay.com/itm/291139962257?_trksid=p2050601.m570.l4455&_trkparms=gh1g%3DI291139962257.N7.S2.M1058.R2.TR3

Thank you very much for the tip.  :-* :-* :-* I just won the lot. Still for a reasonable price, I believe.  :)

I'm only after the dinosaurs in this lot (I offered the seller to keep the rest to save myself some shipping costs), but just in case, is there anything non-prehistoric in this lot I might just want to pick up after all?  ;)

Nice buy! I remember the days when the diplo sold for $600.

600 dollars?  :o

Yep. Or more.

I remember one going for $700.

Walking With Monsers:
[about Lystrosaurus] Astonishingly, their vast herds make up more than half of all life on Earth. Never again will a single species do so well.

Walking With Monsters: (Hynerpeton) To avoid injury the males demonstrate their strength  in a strange  push up contest.

Blade-of-the-Moon

Completists.  They can put the boxes and instructions with the figure and the value goes up.

Spinosaurus Aegyptiacus

The large lot of models is back on, with the price lowered:

Same here, very interesting! The Rex's paint job seems to have taken a hint from the typical red Sega Rex paint jobs. Is this worth 70 bucks though? I dunno...

These are the same models Favorite has been selling as 'Metal models' for years.
Unfortunately they forgot the best figure of that line, the Deinonychus.
