a bit overpriced for just the stand  ::)
It's sad how not even a single one of those dinosaurs are made by Carnegie.

Who does the seller think they're fooling? General consumers won't care about a plastic stand with a fancy name; and collectors who know what Carnegie is won't buy it due to the overpriced bundle with cheap chinasaurs.

Shonisaurus

I have the complete conviction that none of those dinosaurs has been created by the Carnegie brand. I understand that they are chinasaurs from the 90s hollow but that yes vintage dinosaurs and honestly I think that set of dinosaurs is too expensive and I understand that they have overestimated the value of that set of dinosaurs. But obviously they are not Carnegie dinosaurs. You have to be careful with some sellers of Ebay unfortunately there are some deceptions in relation to the sale of products, in this case I think it is a speculation the sale of these figures because the price is excessive.

They tried.... Not....

i'd bid on it and not pay   O:-)
Waste their time tryin' to scam people smh

amargasaurus cazaui

original Carnegie mountain displays like that sell anymore for a few bills by themselves   I am betting the seller has no idea those aren't the right dinosaurs and is probably clueless that they are basically junk.

I'm not sure about that. Usually when people don't know what they have they tend to go cheap. I knew a seller that sold her Rebor figures that she acquired through some pass down for dirt cheap. But anyways lol

Edit: Almost forgot how I obtained a brown papo raptor through a lot for just 20 or so USD. Someome didn't know that one qas being sold for more than that alone

It somewhat hurts me that I cannot bid on this myself, but shipping and customs ruins the bargain, get it while it's hot....

Battat Ouranosaurus

... and in this lot

Invicta Stenonychosaurus

Pachyrhinosaurus

Has anyone else noticed that various Marx figures have been going for exorbitant prices on eBay lately? Some I've seen go for over $100 for a standard-release figure. It appears to be the same bidder in most of these cases as well.

It's baffling to me. I watched a gray Kronosaurus sell for $300 recently. I've got five of them sitting on my shelf here... How do you know who wins a bid? I thought that has been hidden from other bidders for years.

Bidders' identities are hidden but it will display their feedback rating next to their censored name in an item's bid history. In this case the two letters used to represent their name and their feedback rating are consistent throughout the different auctions.

I saw that too. It looks like it was the same person who won.

Anybody know anything or has purchased any of these models ?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Large-Dinosaur-Figure-Model-Toy-Collector-Soft-PVC-Apatosaurus-Mosasaurus-Gift/254290679746?hash=item3b34e7d7c2:m:m1UpZxEPvwzxXtrA1W8pXnw

The actual colors on those sauropods are kinda goofy, but the sculpts aren't that bad.
Considering how rare LARGE sauropod models are nowadays, these are interesting.
Also, I don't think they are bootlegs, they don't seem to copy any other figures.

..just my opinion: the Ebay seller called La-Na-Time Shop is a scalper.
Prices are quite inflated on pvc figures and heavily iinflated on resin figures..

About these pvc models, prices are lower on Aliexpress.

As I said, it's just my opinion  ;)

You found these on Aliexpress ?
I'm curious to see more photos if available, to be able to judge if the large sauropod in particular is worth purchasing.

Yes, the seller has some quite large prices on the resin models, but I never saw some of those models anywhere else though.
My experience with him is quite good, I've had two orders of PNSO and Vitae figures delivered, cheap shipping cost too.

About pvc figures in general, Model Toy Center on Aliexpress is way cheaper than La-Na-Time Shop.
About resin models, you can order them for far lower prices on the Facebook page Dinosaur Darkroom Market.
La-Na-Time Shop prices for resins are heavily inflated, believe me.. ;)

p.s: I really don't like to call someone "scalper" without a proof.

So, an example.
Yesterday pre-orders for M-See Quetzalcoatlus 1:15 diorama opened ( http://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=7463.msg236242#msg236242 ).
I ordered one.
The price for the full-finished version is 430 usd + shipping (in China).
For worldwide buyers is 480 usd + shipping (through Dinosaur Darkroom Market  https://www.facebook.com/groups/dinosaurdarkroommarket/ ).
La-Na-Time Shop sells it ( called " 1:15 Quetzalcoatlus Prey Lizard Scene Statue Dinosaur Collector Pterosaur GK Toy" ) for 799 usd + shipping ( select the painted option on menu':   https://www.ebay.com/itm/1-15-Quetzalcoatlus-Prey-Lizard-Scene-Statue-Dinosaur-Collector-Pterosaur-GK-Toy/254314474168?hash=item3b3652eab8:m:mqT-CdtJE4q5F1s-g7aox7g  ).
La-Na-Time Shop has a price 86% higher than the original one.

About pvc figures, the big sauropod Andreioli talked about is 22,87 euro on Aliexpress and 37 euro on La-Na-Time Shop ( an inflated 60% on a cheap chinese toy  >:( ).

That's why I used the word "scalper"..  ;)

(MonsterHouse HK isn't the only one..  >:D )

In regard to those large sauropods I have purchased both and have them in hand, photos coming soon to my collection thread. Agreed - the colour schemes leave a lot to be desired but in my opinion the sculpts are some of the most accurate to fossil renditions of these animals that I have seen in a while - and they are BIG!
Made of a sort of rubbery vinyl which is not an issue with me.

These are definite repaint candidates! Any tips on what sort of primer I should use on this sort of material would be much appreciated.

The prices of the eBay seller La-Na-Time Shop are very high I bought in the past the indominus and the two indoraptors of Nanmu Studio but the two carnotaurus and the two sinoceratops of Nanmu Studio seem high to me and it is the only eBay seller that It has the prices of these lower figures. Could anyone know where they sell these figures at more affordable prices on eBay or another sales site like Amazon or Aliexpress? Honestly I really like the figures although they are not as great as the indominus of the same brand but I honestly do not plan to spend so much money, I have a hard time earning it, a lot of personal sacrifice and getting up early every day and then spending it on those figures. I prefer to reserve money on vintage products.

Having said all that, the eBay seller La-Na-Time Shop is a great person and the deal with the buyers (contact, personal treatment) is to be admired and it is advisable in that aspect but that said there are figures that sell on eBay that are Very difficult to acquire for such high prices. I prefer to save as I said before and spend my money on acquiring vintage products.
