By now my favourite is Mosasaurus! One question: The sauropod baby is removable?
No offense, but why do people keep asking this? It was stated about two or more times already that it isn't :-X
Sorry I didnt want to disturb but I have a little time to check the forum due my private life and I only asked about the removable baby sauropod.
I thought it was removable like the t-rex with struthiomimus.

No worries. We ask because we don't know right ?

That figure isn't supposed to be removable either. You  may have a damaged one--or you just didn't know your own strength when you pulled on it!

Unless something changed with the figure (although mine was a later edition).

It would be cool if these dinosaur toys came with a set of detachable heads (e.g. open jaw, closed jaw, sauropod, sans-sauropod) like you see in high-end action figures these days. Better yet, a set of detachable pronated, non-pronated limbs for retro and modern pose ability.

Spinosaurus Aegyptiacus

Ridureyu

I find myself interested in the Xenoceratops, Carcharadontosaurus, and the Bista...Bisht...Bihsta...Bistha... screw it, can't remember how to spell it from memory

Anyway I find myself interested in those three because of the really creative use of color.  I love how CollectA uses dinosaur bodies as canvases for works of art.

ITdactyl

For those who already have the new quetz, does the beak really have a tendency to sag (or was that due to how it was packaged?)?  Have you tried anything to fix said deformation? (I'm hoping the hot+cold method works)  And is it soft or hard plastic?

Apologies for the ignorance, my only point of reference are the Favorite soft models and Schleich.  Once I buy the 2014 set, these would be my first critters from CollectA.

Can't find a quick answer in this thread at the moment, so I need to ask a question undoubtedly asked before (sorry!): when was that Mosasaurus due for release again?

Appparently the Collecta pieces have not made it to American shores yet?
Authors with varying competence have suggested dinosaurs disappeared because of meteorites...God's will, raids by little green hunters in flying saucers, lack of standing room in Noah's Ark, and palaeoweltschmerz—Glenn Jepsen

Blade-of-the-Moon

Dan will probably post in his classified thread when he gets them in.

This is the year of the Mosasaur  ;D :)

Tyto_Theropod

Diggin' the Therizinosaurus, Ichthyvoenator, Gastonia and Saurophaganax. And finally a Carcharodontosaurus to go with all the Spinos! This is gonna be one helluva exciting year for CollectA... (I can see my purse getting lighter)

Some pics of the new Mosa compared with the Safari/Carnegie Tylo :

It looks nice . Though massive in girth is a bit shorter than I had thought.

Roselaar

It looks very good. Not as good as the Tylosaurus, but definitely the best proper Mosasaurus specimen so far.

Agreed...and I believe it's interior teeth ( the proper name escapes me ) are correctly oriented in this one ?

I work at the SDSMT Museum of Geology, which has a well-preserved Mosasaurus conodon skeleton on display.Compared to the skeleton, I note that while nicely detailed, the head and especially the tail on this model need to be longer and the whole thing should be thinner, except possibly the anterior torso. Mosasaurus was a highly serpentine beast.

Perhaps this one is meant to be pregnant ?

Bokisaurus

Well, here they are, at least the first group :))
First up, the lovely Carcharodontosaurus at 1:40 scale. Beautifully sculpted figure, love how the head is well done. Very robust figure for sure.

Next is the Asian Spinosaur, Ichthyovenator, another beautiful figure.

The lovely pterosaur Quetzalcoatlus and it's baby sauropod prey

Dead Stego

Something not so prehistoric, Sawfish ( spino's favorite food  ;D)
