amargasaurus cazaui

The head of the Carch looks almost emacciated in side view....very shrink wrapped for how massive the dinosaur is otherwise. I was a bit surprised noticing that....does anyone else notice it or am I just imaginging it?
Authors with varying competence have suggested dinosaurs disappeared because of meteorites...God's will, raids by little green hunters in flying saucers, lack of standing room in Noah's Ark, and palaeoweltschmerz—Glenn Jepsen

Nope, you're not imagining it. That's what's keeping me from wanting this model. The toes also look weird, but I could have gotten past that  ???

I think it's okay, it's a beautiful figure and maybe the head has more thick osteodermic protrusions along the skull outline ?    We've seen heads of modern animals with a more sunken in look and a more robust one so I think it's good.

I would guess each to their own, and I agree, it is a gorgeous dinosaur except in profile in the skull. I am more of the same mind as Patrx, the skull outline is just far too pronounced given the proportions of the rest of the dinosaur.

That Carcharodontosaurus is definitely going on my birthday/Christmas list. It would make an excellent opponent for my Carnegie Spinosaurus.

I'd say it looks pretty good paired up with the Carnegie/Safari Giga as well.

Megalosaurus

Looking at past diorama contests you can see what inspired CollectA to do its stegocorpse:

Nice review. I always pronounced it "Collect-uh" instead of pronouncing the "A" separately at the end. Am I the only one who does this?

the Theri looks much better "live". quite big too.

Blade-of-the-Moon

Looks pretty awesome ! Makes excited to try one of them for the Park here..or maybe a Nothronychus ?

Pachyrhinosaurus

As for CollectA pronunciation, I too say it as "Collect-uh". I never thought this figure would be so large.

No, I do that too.

Theri looks great! When is it due for release?

Quite impressed with the Therizinosaurus. Excellent sculpt and corresponding paint job. It could have benefited from articulated arms....just a thought.

So.. by "May exclusive" does he mean you can only get it in May? ??? I need to know because I need this model!!!
like a bantha!

I do think the new Theri looks better in the video than in the publicity photos, and I do like to see new feathered models, but I don't think I'll be picking it up. In every fossil showing complex, vaned feathers on a dinosaur's forelimbs, those feathers cover part of the manus, beginning with the second digit. Vaned feathers sprouting just behind the claws, on the wrist, just look wrong to me. Also, the green and blue feathers on the head and back seem improbable, because they're structural colors on what appear to be simple filaments. I think I'll stick with the original  CollectA Therizinosaurus.

The Guy somehow got most of the 2014 models before any of us could.   He is going by the catalogue which lists the summer items for May. However I do not think that the models will be available this month as CollectA never releases things on schedule.

I have them too. But CollectA told not to show any photo in my blog of the May releases until the 15th of May. I wonder why this guy did so anyway...
