Excellent work. I particularly like the sauropod and Kentrosaurus. Actually, they look like they would make nice tattoo designs and I have been on the lookout for dinosaur tattoo ideas.

How do you draw them? Is it ink on paper; a scanned drawing or 100% digital?

Thanks!  What kind of dinosaur were you thinking of getting tattooed?

Hey!  I draw them in india ink on bristol board with a crowquill pen.  I have to photograph the drawing because my scanner isn't big enough (the drawings are 14"x17")  I do a little cleanup in photoshop, mostly just upping the contrast so the white is all white and the black is all black.

These are beautiful, Irimali. :D I love the vignetted compositions and the strong black and white contrast.

You forgot to enclose your link in the image tag again in your latest post (the Coelophysis), so I've done that for you. :)

Ah, no. The forum uses Bulletin Board codes, which for images are [img.][/img] (without the dot). Very simply, you can highlight your link, then click the little image icon with the Mona Lisa in the bottom row of icons above your message box when posting, and it will tag it automatically.

Your Dinosaur illustrations are very beautiful and unique, irimali.
I especially like this Coelophysis diorama :D.
What is the cute thing up there? Baby or prey?

[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

Beautiful art, Irimali.  :)) I particularly love how you've effectively created depth and texture using simple black and white.
My favourite is probably this one; the way all the foliage and groundcover draws the eyes into that striking face is exceptional.
