Cretaceous Terror is pretty awesome!

Wow! These look like they could be stills from wildlife documentaries. My favourites have to be the Allosaurus and Archaeopteryx (I can almost hear them screeching...) and the Battat T-rex vs. Safari Triceratops - for some reason there's real movement in that shot. The models almost look like they could have been made as a diorama.

I can imagine that the Triceratops was just walking along, minding his own business and BOOM. Tyrannosaurus darts out of her ambush and, with the element of surprise on her side, is able to finish him off with a quick bite to the neck before he's even fully aware of what's happening. It's always how I've imagined Tyrannosaurs might hunt Ceratopsians, as their main weapon was strength rather than speed and I'd imagine anything with that many pointy bits was a pretty formidable opponent. So all in all, I'm pretty sure this is one of my favourites of your shots - it really tells a story.

Its one of Sega's T-Rex figures.

Indeed, it's the earliest release paint variant of the Sega Tokugawa T. rex sculpt. It shows up on YAJ every now and then.

Great photography, Paul!  Have always enjoyed it!  BTW, its so ethereal that when I see your name on the photos my minds eye changes it to "JOHN CARTER - OF MARS"  (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Carter_of_Mars)

See also the much underrated movie that SHOULD NOT have removed the last two words from the title (http://movies.disney.com/john-carter)
