I  recently acquired a Japanese collector's entire set of Godzilla/kaiju/movie monster gashapon (sort of accidentally). I'm not into this sort of thing, to be honest. Everything on this thread is up for sale. If you see anything you like, please PM me. on hold for now

First off, some King Kong bottlecaps.

King Kong vs Vastatosaurus rex

Falling Brontosaurus

Vastatosaurus rex

Leaping King Kong x2

8th wonder of the world x 3

Lots more to come soon...seriously, I have an entire bag full of this stuff:

Blade-of-the-Moon

Hmm..for my own curiosity..what you take for the whole bag ?

tyrantqueen

I'd accept $80. It's just shipping them that's going to be a pain in the butt.

Anyway, here's another model- Monster X. Scary looking guy.

CityRaptor

Given that his design seems to be influenced by H. R. Giger, this is not surprising.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Hmm..sounds about right. Could you PM a pic of everything there ?  I'd like to sell these in our giftshop with the new Godzilla film coming out. Maybe make us some more funds for the Park.

What would you guesstimate shipping to be ?

Can't argue with that, I've had a few of those moments myself.

EDIT: Not sure what the devil horns and bagel reference is all about.

In this case it must have been one of those Sandworms found on Arrakis.  ;D

I think he really fit the feel of the one film he was in though. I guess it's hard to make a pollution monster, basically a muck monster. The effects of his passing over were pretty cool for the time too.

sauroid

the concept of a smog monster is silly in the first place.  :))

You have to admire the reasoning behind it..pollution is evil and Godzilla was do-gooder hero at the time saving us from ourselves. ;)

tyrantqueen

Hedorah looks like he is made of seaweed than rather smog, haha. His eyes creep me out. Also, why are they sideways? :o
