Love how you change your displays, make it looks fresh!
Are those metal Kaiyodo mammals? Didn't even know they made them, I have the dinos. Looks cool.

Hi Ashley, it does freshen it up and is a bit of fun deciding what to change. I will be concentrating on dinotales for a while with exception of a couple shipments due soon  :)

The silver dinotales are solid plastic and far rarer than the rare metal versions (except the super rare Ceratosaurus skull) I have the four on display but the complete set is shown below. Does anyone else have any of the series?

:) Finally someone is showing the adorable "Gigantic Dinosaur Expo 2006" Supersaurus.

I have been after this model for 9 years. When I had the chance, it always was too expensive for my tastes.
But what a coincidence! I have just found one reasonably priced (on eBay :P) and it's now on its way to me ^-^ .

Congratulations Helge. It's a great little figure but be careful of the tail. It's very fragile and another figure I had ended up breaking. They can be very pricey, but the odd bargain does appear. Even so, with postage and potential customs payments, they literally become value of their weight in gold.

What's that pterosaur flying on the middle shelf? What brand?

Hi, the figures provenance is quite sketchy though the information I have is that this is a one off piece created by one of the kaiyodo sculptors for a museum with the potential to be a prototype. The piece is absolute quality and the paint work and detail top notch. It's obviously not mass produced and I suspect it is a one off.

I'll try to tomorrow night. I'll need to take it down from my very ameturist suspension.

Intersting silver Kaiyodos.  Didn't even know they existed.

U K you have a complete masterpiece of paleoart with that rhamphorhinchus, is the best I've seen in the toy market (I say it with all sincerity). It is the rhamphorhynchus that every collector wanted to have. I congratulate you, you are a very lucky person, considering that there is only that outstanding figure on Kaiyodo's part.

Very cool, very nice.  8) Congratulations  :)

Thank you Shonisaurus, you're so very kind. In fact, judging by your posts, you come across as a great forum member. I salute you and wish you well in your various quests for the rarities, even if we swim in the same waters when looking for playvisions.

Best wishes,

Steve

This will be my last update for a little while as I will saver this new display. Thank you to Bokisaurus for our trade that has helped me complete a wonderful series. My top box is crammed and I so much I wish to put in there.

In transit is a missing piece of my dinometals, then I need to make a decision on what to swap over. How lucky I am and how amazing our hobby is.

So here we go....

My favourites here including a commissioned painted Timpo Rex and original 50's Timpo Stegosaurus. Within my collection probably the rarest piece I have, the bullyland caveman. Also starring on the shelf is Og and his friends from the 1930's, a kaiyodo dodo skeleton, kaiyodo supersaurus and collect club skeleton dual. And not forgetting Marvin and Ford.

Dawn of the Dinosaurs time..... What works of art, though beauty only a mother could love.

Playvisions, works of art too but too many missing for my liking.

Ah, nice to see them in their new home ^-^ as as a whole set. Truly one of the oddest and unique line ever produced! Cheers, great trading with you, thank you!

Congrats on the Saurosuchu.
As I recall - last time you didn't have it.

I am indeed. I've been lucky to own a wide array of amazing pieces in my collecting years. I only started off trying to find a couple of Inpro figures I had as a boy and ten years on I'm still loving finding new challenges to chase.

Playvisions amphibians and my remaining mammals next.

A beautiful little figure arrived from Japan via Germany today. A fabled piece that has finished my wonderful Kaiyodo dinometal line. A big shout out to Helge (postsaurischian) without whom this would never have happened.

And to add to his assistance, I've also used his photos of the piece to show it in its glory.
