:D Wonderful! I'm glad it arrived safely.
It's the first time I see someone showing a complete Kaiyodo DinoMetal set. Wow!

It was a pleasure getting the Ceratosaurus skull. I was thinking about it getting lost in transit ;D .
Nooo, of course I didn't. At least I owned it for two days :) .

50 yards from Dippy was a game / comic shop and stuffed in the corner was a dusty and unloved display shelf. For just a fiver I took it off the shopkeepers hands and took it home to be cleaned, dusted and hung up in the shower room ready for display.

Now I've got two areas to change over and dust regularly.

Changed the bottom shelf too. Brought back the beautiful Favorite metal collection to sit along the dino metal

The Cephalaspis perched on an Invicta stand looks so precarious!
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

What is the big caveman on the left, and where did you get your background?  It all looks pretty neat!

Hi Stoneage, the backdrops are by Burian and from the book 'life before man'. Secondly, the caveman on the left is the little known and very rare Bullyland Neanderthal (catalogue id 61361) produced in the mid 90's

I love it! Great to have another space for display. Oh and I see you have the unpainted Kaiyodo Dinoland Mosasaurus! I have the painted version and I love it so much! ^-^
Quick question, below the shelf with PV mammals, are those the Intro figures? I have some of them, but was to really sure who made them.

UK

Hi Boki, this is the complete set of Inpro figures made during the 1970's. Some figures were on general release, others came with a Chivers send away and the plesiosaur was made later by Toyway who purchased the original Inpro moulds. I have the pleasiosaur in Royal blue too.

In addition, the set was also released in very vibrant colours and the series was called Dinocrats. These are the figures which I played with as a child and when trying to recreate my childhood collection, sparked my interest in all the other lines I now collect.

A few tweaks to the display today. Lining up the Timpo Rexes and bringing back the painted flats. The flats look so different when posed in front of the backdrop.

With the glorious Arctic weather we had last week, I've added a photo of Durdle Door a wonderful part of the Jurassic coastline. It's 15 miles up the road from me but presents a difficult walk to get t it. Apparently the photographer was an experienced climber and need crampons to make to the viewing point.

Beautiful coastline photo, do you go there often?

UK

Not been for a little while. There have been a number of cliff falls making the path from Lulworth Cove to Durdle Door quite dangerous. As a boy, my friend and I sat on the cliff top with our legs hanging over the side eating our sandwiches admiring Durdle Door. This was on a school trip and our teachers were not amused.
L
Now I wouldn't go within ten feet of the cliff face as its a sheer drop. The stupidity of youth eh. Our most recent walk along the Jurassic Coast was from agglestone Rock to the old harry rocks. Couldn't resist climbing the Rock and then struggled to get back down. The stupidly of age.

I think Dorset is blessed with our stunning coastline and amazing beaches.

A few tweaks today. Taking a bit longer these days but twice the fun. Added some kaiyodo bottle caps and the collect club series.

The fab 5 Timpo T Rexes. How fun are these dudes?

Jar Jar Binks if he was a theropod.

Thankfully they can't speak. 5 jar jar binks what a nightmare

By the way, the Colorata quetzalcoatlus that you have next to the rhamphorhynchus is huge. I thought that this company (for me unknown) only made miniatures of dinosaurs. I'm tempted to buy such beauty.  :)  8)
