A seller claims to have a complete set but it lacks the Alligator Gar.  Was the set ever released without one?  He claims the booklet in the set does not list a gar and only ever had 6 figures.

It looks like there may be two or more different versions of the set.

Is it not the endangered specimens set? I guess what is the first series of the fossil fishes

Meanwhile there a three different variations of Colorata's Fossil Fish Box.

- the first edition consisted of six different figures, including a Mekong Giant Catfish.
- the Catfish is missing in the second edition. Therefor they included two new species: Alligator Gar & Polypterus.
The other five figures got new colours.
- Now they released a third version which is identically equal to the second one, except for the colours. The Asian Arowana now is blue :).

So it sounds as if your seller has the first version for sale. Get it! The Catfish is already highly sought after ;).
