I'm just happy Boba Fett got one

I'm all for another King Kong movie, though I'm hesitant about an "origin" story. Then again, there's only so many times you can show a gorilla being shot down a skyscraper and they did that last time. As long as it's got dinosaurs and/or other cool creatures I'm all for it.

Rodan and King Ghidorah are sweet, I love to see Edwards' take on those. I never cared much about Mothra, still don't.

King Kong:  Agreed.  I'm not sure how they'll implement a "human" hook - that is, what would be the audience's view point?  Hopefully they don't resort to overly anthromorphizing the apes.  Unless the human hook would be one of the female islander sacrifices.....

Godzilla 2: after the flying MUTO, I'd love to see how they'd show Rodan....

I'm somewhat excited for the King Kong origin movie, but I hope they don't muck it up. I liked Peter Jackson's King Kong, but a prequel to the original would be fine too.

I hope Weta Studios will be again to make Skull Island again. Also Peter Jackson as producer.
Also Joe Cornish probably will be the director and Max Borestein (Godzilla script) will be the scriptwritter.

Mothra is super popular in Japan though..and she does score in the top 5 for U.S. fans usually. I'd say it's a good character to use. How they pull her off though will be interesting.  She's good/bad/neutral depending on the situation...and the fairies are a big part of her character and how she relates to people and the audience.  I wonder if they'll just remove them ?

This feels like they are doing a remake of Ghidrah the three headed monster..so I'm curious just how much they pull from the original film ?

I doubt they would have the fairies but they might substitute them with twin islander girls with a lot of knowledge regarding mothra. Who knows. It'll be difficult to shoe horn them in realistically but then again, I said the same thing about Thor in The Avengers movie and they handled that alright. Mothra wouldn't be the same without those twins.

Not at all...and the Mothra song...gotta have the mothra song.  ;)

With the first remake lacking any take on Akira Ifukube's theme i'm not going to hold my breath for the mothra  song,
