I stumbled upon a trailer for an upcoming dinosaur movie!

Here is a link to youtube for the trailer.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMSwwRWIVKk

Its another found footage type move (think "The Dinosaur Project") accept it appears to be more adult in tone.
So far it only looks like a therapod is the only dinosaur featured.

Best line in the trailer:  "It will eat you!"

Sounds great but your link isn't working. Do you know the title of the movie so we can search youtube for it?

Blade-of-the-Moon

Looks like a " Syfy " type film.  FX look simple. I wondered when they would make a film using a dino suit like the WWD ones..but this is one the cheaper side.

so there are emperor scorpions in the amazon now? :P
and I'm fairly certain that was a Burmese python, but its hard to tell at a glance

Also, that must be the luckiest albino snake ever to survive long enough in the wild to get that big. ;)

Seems like a B-Movie designed to cash in on JW's likely impending success. Could be fun, if not taken the least bit seriously.

"found footage" eh... so everyone gets eaten.

Can't wait.

one of a half dozen or so announced thus far :P

Looks cheap. Going to leech off of JW.
I may not like feathered dinosaurs and stumpy legged Spinosaurs, but I will keep those opinions to myself, I will not start a debate over it, I promise. 😇

The JP copying is inevitable, so you'd best get used to it 8)

Also a non-venomous milk snakes being passed off as venomous.

Walking With Monsers:
[about Lystrosaurus] Astonishingly, their vast herds make up more than half of all life on Earth. Never again will a single species do so well.

Walking With Monsters: (Hynerpeton) To avoid injury the males demonstrate their strength  in a strange  push up contest.

speaking of JP copying, is it just me, or does their T.rex look rather a lot like the juvenile from the original 1993 JP toyline?

It looks like they're trying some forced perspective stuff with their dinosuit, but with that resemblance in mind, I almost thought it was someone just waving a toy in front of the camera.

I might check it out just the same, low-budget animatronics will make a change from low-budget CGI.

Leidy, please watch your language on the forum! I've taken the liberty of censoring the word, but in the future we would appreciate it if you could refrain from any profanity in the future!

If I had enough money to fund a film...

It would have been better-spent. How does crap like this ever get funded? Was it Kickstarter? I can't think of anyone who would want to fund something like this.

(My dream movie would be something traditionally-animated and inspired by the artwork of Gregory S. Paul, but silent and with a narrator. This of course would never happen in real life.)

stargatedalek

I blame sharknado, now every studio seems to think that they can get away with half-assing any movie they feel like and still make money

I've always wondered that myself, where do they get the money for these cheese movies?
