For my taste, except for the part where I save money, I'm very disappointed in/disturbed by this increasing trend toward releasing sets that stray from the original authentic replica style.

But if anyone is interested, please let me know.

***I NEVER KNOW PRICES UNTIL SETS ARE RELEASED.***  But I can add your address to my mailing list and you'll be notified at the time of all (Kaiyodo and some related) releases and prices.

Thanks.

Hynerpeton

Walking With Monsers:
[about Lystrosaurus] Astonishingly, their vast herds make up more than half of all life on Earth. Never again will a single species do so well.

Walking With Monsters: (Hynerpeton) To avoid injury the males demonstrate their strength  in a strange  push up contest.

I don't understand what you're talking about in regards to the authentic replica style, this set of gecko replicas looks spot on to me. Especially the leopard geckos. The one in the middle has a weird expression on its face. Not saying it isn't accurate, just strange looking.

How much are they? Never heard of them.
These Capsule sets usually run anywhere from $25 - $60. It's a bit early to know the price.

I don't think this is meant to be a replacement of their prehistoric sets, so there is still hope for one.

These however look like a good collection for reptile collectors, even if 4 of 6 are just variants of eachother. Not sure what you mean about them not looking like replicas, however. Geckos make faces like this at times....
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

There is always hope for one, as new sets come out each month. However there is a bit of lag between their announcement and release. For example the recent marine reptiles set was announced by March but only came out in July.

There are three or four CQ sets likely to release before this one--the next regional one with the serow and golden eagle, possibly the oddly painted caterpillar set but since that's no longer on the site on which I first saw it perhaps (hopefully) it was cancelled, the insect pest set, and the odd tree frog/toad set.

I post them on the Kaiyodo thread in the animal toy forum.  I only posted this set here since I thought it might be of interest to dino collectors as well.  Here's the frog/toad set:

And with three released over a year and a half period, I assume a prehistoric set will be announced shortly.  I'm hoping for mammals...

I think they are fine, emm maybe it looks semi-original because they are a toy. LG looks fat maybe they are came from captive breed :D in up left its tremper morph, up rigt is extreme tangerine morph, down left is snow morph, and down middle is normal morph. I love leopard gecko   :))
