J @jean surprisingly, I never had any problems with Hercules, either ^-^ He's definitely more stable on a flat surface than he is on his dried riverbed base, though. The Cerberus Clan that goes with him are a bit unreliable and tricky to balance, but once they're positioned just right they're fine!

avatar_Minmiminime @Minmiminime avatar_Shonisaurus @Shonisaurus  thanks again guys , you guys  have been very helpful

I'm not too certain of those Dilophosaurus figures by Rebor. Sure I read somewhere that theropods in particular were unable to turn their palms into a downward-facing position, something to do with the wrist bones I think

M @MESOZOIC BEAST

That's correct, theropod dinosaur (and I think some quadrupedal dinosaur?) wrists were not able to 'pronate' (turn their hand so their palm faced downwards or upwards). However the idea of dinosaurs having 'bunny hands' has existed for years, way before Jurassic Park.

I wonder how that works out for all those Gallimimus and Therizinosaurus models out there? Personally I'm not a lover of the pose, think it makes the model look a bit silly, bit timid-looking, not a good thing for any self-respecting theropod

Now that everyone has seen the vanilla ice rex and queen Rex , I would like to ask you if I should still get the king trex . Is the new Rexes more detailed than their old Rex?
And for those who got both Hercules and King trex , which do you like more and which do you think  worth the price more since they are about the same price though acro being smaller

Looks like they're doing a very nicely rendered T. rex skull:

In terms of Hercules Vs. The King, I think I prefer The King, just for its sheer bulk and presence. It's close, though! Both of these figures look as though they were originally hand sculpted and they have a warm, organic feel. Not very accurate, but very well produced and undoubtedly cool, and they are the first ones everyone looks at in my cabinet

Just putting the image here so people have quick access to it

"A 1:10 scale museum class Tyrannosaurus rex skull replica?"

Minmiminime

Thanks, avatar_IrritatorRaji @IrritatorRaji 😄 It is a perpetual source of irritation that I am unable to post images!!

Shonisaurus

Thanks for the images IrritatorRaji by the way if the skull at a scale of 1:10 will be an immense sculptural set on the part of the Rebor brand.

But honestly I'm more interested in flesh and blood dinosaurs and not skeletons or skulls. I know it's a defect of mine but I prefer living or dead dinosaurs with meat in between like the tenontosaurus from the "Clan Cerberus".

Syndicate Bias

Rebor posted their grab n go t rex on fb it looks pretty good. If someone can get the pics just a heads up

Wow they've turned that around pretty quickly, they must be serious!! I really hope the progress here maintains momentum. I definitely want this one!

This tyrannosaurus rex by Rebor is a scientific tyrannosaurus. He does not have the arms of JP / JW and that is appreciated. The arms are small as they were those of tyrannosaurus rex. I hope that the final figure is even better than the prototype shown by facebook.

Faelrin

I just wish it wasn't so shrinkwrapped on the head, because it does look pretty good otherwise. I wonder what the color scheme will look like. Is it just me or does it look like it does have articulation on the jaws and arms? Unless it was just put together that way?

No points of articulation with this range! Rebor have confirmed it on FB ^-^. The teeth look nice and sharp, I hope the level of detail survives mass production. I'm confident it will, they're pretty committed to quality and their aesthetics! The head does look a little odd, but no more so (probably less so) than a lot of other models, so I'm inclined to forgive it, and it'll undoubtedly look better once coloured. Maybe they'll go for stark, Battat-type colours to keep costs down, but I suspect they'll produce something very well finished within the budget. The jaws are agape, but at least that tongue is flat and uncurled; it seems likely the tongue was immobile, like that of a modern crocodilian, according to recent research on the hyoid. That slight sway of the tail to the left where the muscle has contracted is a nice touch. Overall it looks like quite a lot of consideration has gone into this with regards to current research, so I'm very much onboard with it! ;D

It's a shame it doesn't have an articulated jaw, oh well. I'll still get it though.

This thing is going to sell for under 20 quid???? That's an achievement in itself!! Rebor made an awesome decision to start doing this!
Love it, no ridiculously huge feet for stability, no overly ambitious posing, just a beautiful sculpt with all the detail.
Brilliant, Rebor, now give us a release date.  >:D

Shonisaurus

avatar_mgaguilar @mgaguilar I am afraid that the release dates of both the tyrannosaurus rex mentioned and that of many prehistoric animal figures of Rebor goes for long. At least it will have to wait in some cases for several years and I understand that I am not exaggerating.
