Hello! I'm not sure where else to post this, but I wanted to share it with you guys. Really neat full-size Pachy sculpture. I like the almost "fantasy" feel it has to it, with still being realistic. As long as the skeleton fits inside, I say go wild  :)), in this case the feet and head do seem a little exaggerated, but it's still awesome.

Amazing detail work on this one. I don't quite like the squishy comic-vibe it has, but it's still a really good sculpture.

Here's what I've been doing on my Proto. I got em all smoothed out, and I've started to add some epoxy wrinkles, these are going to be blended in and a coat of resin is going to go over everything before I paint it.
(Cocker Spaniel for scale and cuteness)

Really nice work on the wrinkles, they have a very organic, reptilian look. Also, CUTE DOG. I love English Cockers. ^-^

I do really like that sculpt for Billings Prod. it's much better than the half dinos they used to use. I wish we had some here for the Park that could be climbed on, sadly my current method doesn't allow for that. :/

Hello Everyone!

I've been experimenting with making some eyes for my Protoceratops. So far I've just been painting bouncy balls with acrylics. Most of these are based after Iguana eyes, except for the big blue ones, which are based on geckos. What do you think?

I think the leftmost one on the bottom row is the most appropriate for Protoceratops. That's my gut take on this. Gratis progress!

They are pretty cool, I used to paint my own eyes made from Super Sculpey. But ever since I tried taxidermy eyes I can't see using anything else.  You might check out what these stores have : tohickonglasseyes.com or vandykestaxidermy.com  They are actually pretty affordable, I think mine were around 20.00.  Just a consideration.

This is an experimental paint job I did for a Hylaeosaurus cast. Can you guess what extant reptile the colors are from?

Colors taken from a trilobite bug, by any chance? ;)

a fire skink or a fire belly toad?

You get a point for being the first to guess an extant reptile! Newts, toads, and beetles aren't reptiles last time I checked  :)) although thank you to Fabricious for introducing me to the trilobite bug, those are neat!

I'll give another clue: It has a short tail.

I just got this from Shapeways! It turned out great! Silly me forgot to reverse the image, good thing there's no text :). I think I will be stamping this on the belly of my Sauropod. I will also be making a mold for chocolate and gummy candies with my logo, why you ask?...  Because I can!
