I agree, I like the grey background (although I don't have a problem with the white). Nice pics as always!

So, besides Linde and Marx, were there other makers who put out a Sphenacodon? I would think some of the new manufacturers would have done one. If not, I may need to sculpt one...

I found out this guy too late: it was already sold....  :'(

Ive started sculpting a sphenacodon and its turning out really awesome looking so far! Its about 8" long so approximately 1:15 scale?

Why do I always feel that the WWD marine reptiles just don't fit in in terms of quality with the rest of the series... The ophthalmosaurus has wonderful paint job and the liopleurodon is just fabulous, but the same cannot be said for the rest.  :-\
That's just my opinion  ;)

...to be honest, the WWD Toyway collection isn't so good..
It's a MUST HAVE for a collector but figures like Torosaurus, Stegosaurus or Tyrannosaurus are really poorly made..

Great pics!  ;D
The estemmenosuchus looks fantastic!

If I owned a gun and lacked all decency and common sense, I would force Doug Watson to make an Estemmenosuchus for the Wild Safari line. It's such an amazing animal. The first time I ever saw it was on the cover of a book called "Dinosaurs And Other Prehistoric Creatures" by David Peters (this was long before he went crazy and started making up fantasy pterosaurs). I remember thinking at first that there was no way this could be a real animal.

Ahhaahh.... I hope Mr. Watson is not reading this thread right now...  ^-^
