You've really sold me on that Recur Ouranosaurus, I need to get one. How easy is it to order from overseas on AliExpress? I have never used that site before.

Honestly I have mixed feelings about AliExpress.
AliExpress is more like Ebay than Amazon.
You have to deal with the seller directly.
Recur customer service is very good and responsive.
The main problem was the shipping process.
AliExpress has a free shipping option with China post and 2 (quite pricey) options with Couriers.
I tried with the free shipping option.
AliExpress says that China post usually takes a month.
I received my order after TWO months and the packaging was crushed and broken.
I was lucky enough because items were undamaged.
The safer option is the courier but it's not cheap.
So it's up to you.. ???

Ah ok, thanks for the info, I'll have to think about it.

am also waiting for AliExpress dinosaurs for free shipping and I know how those packages deal with the people who are in charge of the customs service. Fatal, I know from experience in fact without being free I have a package retained in the station of my nation from 18/03/2017. With that I say everything.

From what I see the customs problem is unfortunately widespread. Corruption and bad people exist in all nations and is not an exception in customs. It is best to have the package insured as I do from now on to avoid losing the money. The receiver and the receiver are benefited by this method.

A preview about figures I bought and that will be in my collection soon (just the trip from Urzeitshop to my home..  ;) ).
Vitali Klatt's Dimetrodon vs Ophiacodon (and dead Seymouria) / Painted by Martin Garratt

Martin almost copied the paintjob of my comission.
Normally I am not loving this, but as long as It Runs in the Family ... ;D.

:D Congratulations! You will love it.

Some time ago Miron was talking to me about some pterosaurs by Vitali.
I'm really still hoping they'll get released one day.

I know very well your Dimetrodon by Klatt.
I didn't do any commission this time: I simply bought the already-finished piece from Urzeitshop.
And, to be honest, I noticed that the paint job was quite similar to your model (and probably that's the reason why I chose it  ;) ).
I received it today and.... it's gorgeous..  8)

Pterosaurs from Vitali Klatt could be awesome.  ^-^

Just a fast preview of the Dimetrodon vs Ophiacodon diorama (more and better pictures soon):

:)

P.S  Probably Dimetrodon was more like that in real life:

..and less reptilian look and more mammalian style (with fur)..  ;)

:D

p.s Technical tips: Usually I don't use HDR with soft-box pictures. This time I do (to obtain even more dynamic range). I hope it works..

ceratopsian

A splendid flock of Archaeopteryx.  And the Dimetrodon in your new Klatt is stunning - the colours and the way they blend are a wonder.

Fenestra

Another beauty. Congratulations.  8)
The two model kits work really well together as a diorama.
Were they originally made to form a diptych?
