What would you say are the best more recent dinosaur books for adults (last 5 years let's say)

Greg Paul's "Princeton Field Guide to Dinosaurs" and Scott Sampson's "Dinosaur Odyssey". Also the 2nd edition of "The Complete Dinosaur". Just to name a few.

Hadrosaurs and New Perspectives On Horned Dinosaurs, both from Indiana Press, are an invaluable source if you're into those dinosaur groups.
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

Holtz's Dinosaurs: The Most Complete, Up-to-Date Encyclopedia for Dinosaur Lovers of All Ages ( http://www.amazon.com/Dinosaurs-Complete-Up---Date-Encyclopedia/dp/0375824197 ) & Gardom/Milner's The Natural History Museum Book of Dinosaurs ( http://www.amazon.com/Natural-History-Museum-Book-Dinosaurs/dp/184442183X ) are the best encyclopedic & non-encyclopedic dino books, respectively, for casual readers. Taylor's review of the former ( http://www.miketaylor.org.uk/dino/books/index.html#hr2007 ) & The Book Depository's description of the latter ( http://www.bookdepository.com/Natural-History-Museum-Book-Dinosaurs-Tim-Gardom/9781844421831?b=-3&t=-20#Fulldescription-20 ) sum up most of the reasons why, but not the most important reason: Holtz & the NHM keeps updates on "Supplementary Information for Holtz's Dinosaurs" ( http://www.geol.umd.edu/~tholtz/dinoappendix/ ) & "The Dino Directory" ( http://www.nhm.ac.uk/nature-online/life/dinosaurs-other-extinct-creatures/dino-directory/index.html ), respectively, when parts of said books become outdated.

New Perspectives On Horned Dinosaurs and Pterosaurus both look good!  Any one have an idea on a good book about ichthyosaurs or other marine reptiles from the mesozoic?  I do not have a lot of knowledge beyond the basics, and would like to delve a little deeper.

I know that Holtz's Dinosaurs isn't specifically for adults & that neither book is from the last 5 years (2007 & 2006, respectively), but that's OK b/c besides the exceptional quality, Holtz's Dinosaurs is has something for everyone (including adults) & both books have websites for updates.

These books weren't published in recent years but I like Dinosaurs: The Encyclopedia and all supplements by Donald Glut and Dinosaurs Past and Present.
These books were published in recent years: Dinosaurs: How They Lived and Evolved, Giants of the Lost World, Why Dinosaurs Matter, and The Rise and Fall of The Dinosaurs.

Plus If you also want to get more specific, The Tyrannosaur Chronicles and The Sauropod Dinosaurs are great. But also there is Weird Dinosaurs, Dinosaurs: The  Textbook 6th Edition, Dinosaurs: A Concise Natural History 3rd Edition, Dinosaurs: A Very Short Introduction 2nd Edition and Planet Dinosaur which is based on the documentary.

tYRantOsAur

Every dinosaur enthusiast has to have The Dinosauria 2nd Edition.

tYRantOsAur

I think Holtz's book is for everybody, not just kids.

tYRantOsAur

This book is so specific it is just on T.rex. It is called Tyrannosaurus Rex, The Tyrant King. But if you are not into T.rex, there are several other really good dinosaur books like Acrocanthosaurus Inside and Out, Dinosaurs Without Bones, The Carnivorous Dinosaurs, and there are even dinosaur books on the history of dinosaurs like Barnum Brown: The Man Who Discovered Tyrannosaurus Rex.

tYRantOsAur

Pretty Soon I will post links but the book Triassic Life on Land: The Great Transition looks interesting. The review is here and here is the link to buy it.
https://www.smithsonianmag.com/science-nature/reading-triassic-life-on-land-76155633/
I will have to post the link to buy the book another time.

I also suggest that you get Dinosaurs of Mexico.

tYRantOsAur

Who can not resist Dinosaurs of Eastern Iberia, it is a good read.

Dinosaur Paleobiology is one of the best book on dinosaurs for any old dino fan.

Duh, you got 10 single sentence posts and all of them are in this thread, following each other directly. And all made on the same day. That's some serious spamming going on. You know, you can actually edit your posts.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no
