Tiny (5.5 meters tall) paraceratherium.

Cool! Did you 3D print that? Makerbot?

Thank you.
Paraceratherium is printed with Ultimaker 2.

Tyrannosaur 1:72  scale.

Dynamosaurus imperiosus

Pretty sweet! Do you have an ultimaker or are you going to a maker space/school? Did you sculpt the 3D files? How much does it cost in filament to make 1:72 Rex?

I do own Ultimaker 2 printer. Thes are my sculps, but T-Rex is printed in a local printing service. I belive they use Makerbot printer. The price was 9 euros.  But the filament cost would be:
1 kilo PLA = 35 Euro
1:72 t-rex with 30% filled is 33 gram
So that is ~ 1.16 Euro

Well I use US currency but I'm curious why you printed it at a shop if they charge you 9 for 1.16 worth of plastic when you have a printer at home? That's pretty cool that you have an ultimaker! Great job on the sculpting! I have to order my sculpts from Shapeways.

I see. How are you liking your printer? Looks like it does a good job!

Actually i like it alot. It has a good printing quality and probably one of the best choices for personal/home printing.

1:72 Paraceratherium. One of the biggest mammals ever walked the earth we know today.
The idea is to paint it with sand color and darker brown spots on the back one day maybe :)

mest

1:72 Megatherium.

Kayakasaurus

Ooh cool! The fur looks like it turned out pretty good. I would like to see them painted. I like that your doing extinct mammals, They are very unrepresented. Your making me want to get an ultimaker  :)
