With EXPO 2015, the National Geographic's exhibition of Paul Sereno's Spinosaurus starts into Palazzo Dugnani in Milan (Italy), near the Natural History Museum.
First pictures of the 1:1 model:

Great statue - I need to know a) If it's coming to the UK and b) If they're gonna be selling scale models of it?

The exhibition is called " Spinosaurus: Lost Giant of the Cretaceous".
After the US Tour ( http://events.nationalgeographic.com/speakers/2014/10/16/spinosaurus/ ) started in Washington DC, Milano is the first city in the European tour (because of the EXPO 2015 event).
The exhibition will be in Italy until December 2015.
After that it will move to the next countries. Probably in the UK.

Yesterday the exhibition was closed so I can't visit it ( the Spino model is in the park at entrance and everyone can see it).
I don't know if there are collectibles or dino models in the exhibition's shop.
I never heard anything about collectibles during the Spino's US Tour.
Probably there are no models of the new Spino to buy.
Except for the Collecta new models (when they will go on sale....).
In these days I'm really busy with work; when I'll visit the exhibition I'll post new pictures and info about it.
See you soon  :)

Unfortunately the ONLY collectible from the exhibition was a 3D printed skull of a Deinonichus; but you need to pre-order it because the printer took 7 hours to do his job........ Crazy......

Have a nice day   :D

This model came from the NHM of Milano. It's from 1994 so...no feathers....

I ask b/c the model used to have sickle claws when they thought it was a dromaeosaur. They've apparently changed the model to reflect the fact that it wasn't, so why not change it to reflect the fact that it was feathered? Worked for Czerkas' Deinonychus ( http://dinosaur-museum.org/featheredinosaurs/show.htm ).

lol  I'm seriously thinking of just doing a head/neck or an upper torso. Save me some headaches later...

Hear is an Idea.   Save the Spiny for a lot later, and save the funds to make a Carcaradontosaurus, when thats made. then make a Dead  adult Spinosaurus with his legs missing, and all bloody like your Canotaurus display

lol the thing is Spiney has been requested by several kids..Carcardontosaurus hasn't been...at all. I have considered making a Giganotosaurus too..maybe in a resting pose? Of course if not made like a head/neck full adult sizes aren't going to work anyway. Our trailer we move pieces with is only around 16' long. :/
