avatar_IrritatorRaji @IrritatorRaji Sorry to hear about that. That's got to be really frustrating. Maybe contact David too (not sure what he could do other then refund, especially if they can't be tracked down)? Good thing you got your blue raptor though, especially since that one's an exclusive and rather limited compared with the others.

I would check the courier before parcel force or the airport where the parcel arrived. Maybe one of them can help you since at your post office they said it didn't reach the parcel force's system so then somewhere before it you have to look for. I wouldn't give up yet in your place.

I already tried to talk to USPS about it, they were the courier before Parcel Force, but they essentially told me that there was nothing they could do because the package was in Parcel Force's hands :/

Not really much that David can do. I don't really know how I feel about asking for a refund though because the tracking information shows that the package was delivered, so from his point of view it must look like I'm lying or something.

But yeah, good thing I got the blue. Shame about the other 3, especially since one of them was the red Velociraptor Osmolskae, another rare one :/

avatar_IrritatorRaji @IrritatorRaji: I would be inclined to approach him very politely and at least ask him about this and explain the full background.  If the tracking delivery information is that it was delivered at 1.00 in the morning, this suggests strongly that something is very amiss with that delivery information.  He will understand, I would hazard a guess, that no postal service delivers at that time of night.  Also was it "signed for"?  Again, no delivery firm is going to ask for a signature at 1.00 in the morning.

avatar_IrritatorRaji @IrritatorRaji, you said the post office told you your package didn't go through Parcel Force, while the tracking history shows Parcel Force received it.  This is evidence that can be used to verify that your package wasn't delivered to you.  I would tell David about this, there's definitely a possibility you can get a good outcome.  I also think avatar_ceratopsian @ceratopsian has given you good advice.

Aw no, I am so sorry to hear this avatar_IrritatorRaji @IrritatorRaji 😢 Surely they're being deeply unreasonable, there's absolutely no way they should be able to just get away with a mess-up like this?! If it was "signed for", then there must be a record of that signature?? What an absolute shambles they are, disgraceful

It's just my luck, I guess

They've actually been lost for about a week. The packages are tracked and have a tracking number, tracking says the packages have been delivered last week, Friday, at 1 in the morning (which they obviously weren't). Went to the post office a few days ago and asked what was going on, gave them the tracking number and they said they couldn't track it because the number had never been through their system. They told me "this isn't ours, we can only track it if it's been through Royal Mail or Parcel Force" which was all well and dandy except the tracking history showed the package being handed over to Parcel Force when it arrived in the UK. They acknowledged that it all looked weird but told me they couldn't do anything about it.

My tracking info for both my parcels also showed a delivery attempt that never happened - one of which was in the middle of the night, similar to yours.  About five days later, I received letters through the post from Parcel Force with the customs bill, which I paid online - I'm now awaiting the scheduled delivery which should be next week.  So hopefully maybe you'll hear from Parcel Force yet, and the fake delivery attempt is just a weird system thing?  How long has it been for you since?

Yes! It's been more than two years in the making, but I finally received my adult raptor shipment today!

Atrociraptor, fan's choice P. olympius, and blue V. osmolskae. What wonderful looking models. Have only opened the Pyroraptor so far, but am super impressed. Now the clutch of eggs that came with my desert pack has a momma. And my grey nestlings! They could feasibly work as chicks of any of these three genera, which is totally cool. Mononykus my friend, you are solidly outnumbered  :))

Looking forward to adding at least a couple ceratopsians to my collection once that Kickstarter takes off.

Finally getting around to getting pictures of my raptors!  Here they are with a few other dinos in the background and the Rebor Winston alongside them.

Velociraptor, Adasaurus, and Zhenyuanlong.  Love the touch of blue to Adasaurus!

Adasaurus, Zhenyuanlong, Rebor Velociraptor, and Microraptor.  Background dinos aren't important lol!
I'm excited for REBOR's Acro!  Can't ya tell?

After lots of back and forth between me and the post office that mostly consisted of passive aggressiveness on my part and them admitting that they had absolutely no clue where my package was, look who suddenly decided showed up out of the blue!

Linheraptor is the most beautiful of the lot and is definitely my fave, fantastic colours and not a flaw to be found. The red Velociraptor is also a-m-a-z-i-n-g, I feel so lucky to have one, the black on the snout looks a little rough on one side but it's hardly noticeable. Acheroraptor, again, fantastic figure, and surprisingly enough the only one with a warped jaw (Linh and both Velo's all have perfectly straight jaws). I thought all my raptors would have warped jaws since I've read a lot of complaints about them.

Also, the joints, they were perfect on all my figures. Nothing too tight nor too loose. I know a lot of people were complaining about super tight knees or super loose shoulders, my figures had none of that.

I'm so glad to have these, they were definitely worth all the turmoil My raptor squad is complete!

Jose S.M.

Wonderful figures, I'm glad they finally made their way to you, mail services can be so annoying and unreliable sometimes.

Yaaaay avatar_IrritatorRaji @IrritatorRaji !!!

I'm so happy for you, it was heartbreaking to think they were lost after seeing you get so excited for them. I'm glad they reached you and you get to enjoy them.

avatar_IrritatorRaji @IrritatorRaji: I am so glad the Post Office finally delivered your missing raptors. You must be so relieved. It's quite made my day hearing your good news!

Minmiminime

Hooray, and congratulations! 😁🎉 What a relief!! They all look amazing

Thank you all for the kind words! It really has made my day to see these figures after thoroughly giving up on seeing them :) I've lost a lot of packages to Royal Mail this year, glad this wasn't one of them!
(Though I am really confused as to why I never had to pay a customs fee for these, I had to pay one for my blue Velociraptor O.o )

stegosauria

It could be quite disturbing that tracking doesn't always mean you know where your package is but at least eventually you got these raptors. They look beautiful and you arranged them into fantastic poses too. Your shots about your Linheraptor and Acheroraptor are the best ones I saw about these two. Maybe someday I will get them (at first I'll get other figures and the environment packs from this line and even 'just' those will be hefty).

Faelrin

avatar_IrritatorRaji @IrritatorRaji I'm really glad you were able to receive your figures after all. They look like quite the lively bunch.

Alright, my raptors and I have had ample time to settle in and get used to each other, so here are a few (overdue) images to show them off I had planned:

The initial five:

The fans' choices:

The whole gang:

(Oof, I probably should have retaken that shot; so bright!)

More pics in the spoiler:

Look at 'em all getting along together! ...I guess. Veloci & Saurorn look like they're chatting nicely. The Dromae's are getting pretty chummy. Pyro looks like he's trying to relax.
And Balaur... I don't know what Balaur is doing. Zhen doesn't seem to know, either.  ???

Some comparison shots between Velociraptor and some fellow genus toys:

Elsewhere...

They're so cute when they play kaiju:

[close]

Some little things I noted:
-Most of the raptors' thigh joints were tight, and sculpted close to the body; but my Velociraptor's right leg has more leeway and is even prone to coming off occasionally. Interestingly, the fans' choice raptors seemed less stiff overall.
-Both Dromaeosaurs, Pyroraptor, and Balaur had problems closing their mouths completely. Hair dryer treatment seemed to fix this, though.
-The rubber neck inserts might actually be more of a hindrance than a help; they tend to limit the degree of movement from the neck joints.
-I've noticed some tiny nicks and scuffs on the paint jobs of at least a couple of raptors, but you have to be looking for them most of the time.
-These guys definitely take practice to balance; their ankles are pretty weak, and the figures are just top-heavy. Display rods could use some improvement.
-Balaur's smaller left sickle claw is missing a chip at the joint!!  :o I don't think it's severe enough to bother replacing it, though; I just need to be more careful with it.

I don't mean to sound like I'm just complaining, with the above comments; these figures aren't perfect, but for what they are, they're pretty amazing. They look great on my headboard, and I'm sure I'll continue to have fun playing with them. I might even let some of the kids I know check them out sometime!* (see, kids, this is what a Velociraptor should probably look like)

*with care, of course.
