Quote from: Blade-of-the-Moon on April 07, 2025, 12:46:27 AMBig storm moving through now. I got the generator out there yesterday and sealed up two fins, then I had to tarp it. I hope to get back at it Tuesday or Wednesday.
Wow when thunder roars under the Mountains of Tennesse... Good luck !

Elasmosaur paint is DONE.  I might paint the base still..not sure yet.

DinoToyForum

Great job. It looks fantastic, I bet this one will be popular with the visitors!
The black base is neutral. Painting it might draw attention to it? Would you paint it blue like water, yellow like sand, or colourful like a coral reef?

BlueKrono

This is one of your best ones yet. I hope my travels take me back to Tennessee someday so I can see it in person.

I'm thinking brown like sand/rock? I plan to plant some tall ornamental grasses around it as well that should add a marshy feel..or maybe like seaweed?

Thanks!  This is the last head I had made from around this time last year. I'm having issues finding time and materials to keep building so it might be awhile before the next one. I am getting fiberglass pieces to help supplement our growth as well.

Which technically means that a placoderm might well be the Park's 100th prehistoric animal ?^^ Sounds terrific  c):)
Meanwhile, bravo again for this awesome Elasmosaur, as well as for your neat website !
Your Dino Park is truly a dream & I do hope to have an opportunity to visit it shortly O:-)

lol oh no. I've an Indominus Rex to install next, I have a Retro tail dragging Rex after that and a giant 25' Pteranodon Longiceps Male too.  After that..who knows? ;)

You'll have to thank the DTF Admin in chief for the website, couldn't have done it without him.

Pics on a cloudy day , I also started working on the wall to keep little climbers out.

Great job, avatar_Blade-of-the-Moon @Blade-of-the-Moon , all around, top to bottom, side to side. This is one of my favorites on your site. Maybe someday I'll come down to Tennessee to take it all in.

P.S. Aren't you glad that the lipped versus unlipped controversy hasn't touched these critters!

Your welcome anytime!  Thanks!! :)

lol it wouldn't matter a lot to me, yeah I try to keep things accurate but that debate is about as up there as feathers on Rex for me. There are also several ways to restore them if you add them. So I'll do a lot whatever looks good to me.  ;D

This is a very good deed O:-)
Actually, it's so funny to see that little Chilly doesn't seem to be afraid of the surrounding big terrors ^-^

Oh no not at all, but she is terrified of people despite all the barking at them she does. Her original owner was an elderly lady that passed away. The husband didn't want to keep her so she was put up for adoption. It takes time but I think she will get used to everything. :)

Stegotyranno420

beautiful, both the elasmosaur and the canine. Elasmo has this 2000s-2010s vibe i crave and adore so much, took me back to childhoodm

BTW, maybe I read ur comment about Chilly wrong, but dogs, especially small dogs tend to be so aggressive of people BECAUSE they are scared, since they are small, so they try to act more aggressive to scare them off as a last resort.
