BTW, maybe I read ur comment about Chilly wrong, but dogs, especially small dogs tend to be so aggressive of people BECAUSE they are scared, since they are small, so they try to act more aggressive to scare them off as a last resort.

Thanks!

Yeah it all really depends, dogs like people and other creatures have a lot of different personalities and mind sets.  It's hard to figure them out easily as they can't just tell us.  My first adoption, Peanut, is a very small Chihuahua. But he likes everyone and walks up to people in the park for petting from all of them.  He's gotten grumpier the older he gets though, he'll be 13 this I think.   I try to lead by example. I show Chilli that I'm not afraid of people so she doesn't have to either..she just needs to "chill". lol positive encounters, and reinforcement help too. From what  I understand the elderly lady who owned her did very little to socialize her.  She's also a Chi-weenie part Chi part Dachshund. which also can toss in a mix of different variables.  I think eventually she will calm down.

She seems to be in good hands now, so there is no reason why her behaviours wouldn't improve O:-)

Here's hoping, she's jealous of Peanut, I can remember when Peanut was 6 months old and jealous of my last Chihuahua, Lizzy.  Time is not kind to our furred friends.

Painted the base, the wall and planted some ornamental grasses that get pretty tall like marsh grass. Installed the signage.

Working on some fiberglass models of our favorite dinos from TLBT.  Kids are going to love seeing these at the park.

Had an email from a lady with PBS Chatanooga, she wanted to see if I wanted to advise the Dino Park during the showing of WWD locally. She pitched commercials, billboards, ect.   I mentioned we are a nonprofit and a pretty small one at that so not sure we could afford much.  She asked about our budget and I replied but haven't heard back. It was nice to be considered at the least. :)

Is there a story behind that one tooth?  Maybe I missed it earlier in the thread.  This will surely be very popular with your guests!

You mean where it's backwards?  It appears here in there in concepts and animatronics.

That said I went over this and other design details forever with the company that made it, they just couldn't wrap their heads around what I meant. At one point they exactly added the teeth from the Battle at Big Rock Allosaurus to it instead.  I sent them pages of references which I think they only sort of looked at. Once they got it so far it was like, yeah close enough.

They technically didn't get them right even now in regard to how crazy the orientation is.

I tried telling them just to copy the Mattel toy.  :))

Had our local Sam's Club visit today and setup our new playground equipment.

Peanut supervising hard

I also finished the resculpt and repaint of the Pachycephalosaurus

Our 25' Male Pteranodon has been installed. I wasn't thrilled being up there on that building..I do NOT do heights at all. Luckily I had a few helpers volunteer to handle it for me.

Where's the new Pteranodon located? I can finally update the map as promised.  O:-)

I sent you a pic on FB hopefully it works. It's a larger area out past the styracosaurus.

I just noticed Dilophosaurus 68 at the entrance should be 73. And there is the extra 'Raptor' here now too I think? :))

Anything else wrong? Have I got the positions of the new additions about right?

Has the Styracosaurus moved?

I saw in one of your photos a large sauropod head in the play area?

Is there a second Sinclair dino I could illustrate?

There was already a Pteranodon at 4, so the new one at 63 should technically by 4 as well.

The new indominus Rex bust and hand coming through the fence is right beside the Rex photo op and raptor there at 20.

Styracosaurus is where she was I just made a path beside her.

That head was supposed to be our adult brachiosaurus but I realized quickly I'd never get it in the air with my current methods.

There is a Sinclair advertising Bronto at the playground for kids to sit on. Looks like you got it.

The new pteranodon is much larger and is identified as a male p. Longiceps.  There is also a nest there.

T. rex and Indominus on same side of path (left and right respectively as you are looking at them)? I had always assumed they were on opposite sides of the path, facing off! Is the snake on that photo op side too then, I see it in some photos next to T.rex? Maybe a panorama photo of this little area would be helpful.

Are the other pteranodons a different species?

Want me to add the adult Brachiosaurus head to the map?

There is a pair of small iguanodons in one photo, I seem to be missing them as well?

Yes I moved the snake to the start of the trail on the opposite side of the Dromaeosaurus.  From left to right, Raptor in cage, Rex, and Indominus in one big scene.  I was going to put the IR on the opposite side but the grade of the hill would make it appear much smaller. I wanted as much height as I could get.

Rex is immediately to the left here.

My first Pteranodon was just intended to be a Pteranodon. Then I made a crouching one semi based on the Bullyland figure. It was a bit decrepit over time so I repaired it as best I could and moved it to sit on top the entrance of Terrors of the Deep.  Beside the original Pteranodon I added a new Geosternbergia.  This new giant Pteranodon is 25' wide so fits the size estimates for a male P. Longiceps.

Looking at this diagram :

The original could be a subadult male or maybe a female due to size?  Seems the crest size is pretty variable.

If you like, I really just wanted to put it somewhere, it looks a bit odd being so huge and looking over a 6' fence. :/

Those are the juvenile Muttaburrasaurus.
