Where do you buy these dinosaurs at?

FUTABA

Your best chance is probably on Ebay.

Ebay price is always a ripoff though just like Favorite dinosaur.  I guess I'll pass on these two brand then.

FUTABA

Depends. I got a few WWD figures on Ebay for £6.50 each a little while ago. Just got to be patient and keep searching.

I agree there are some great bargains on Ebay sometimes, but I still have to contend with shipping charges, exchange rate and the worst ... taxes!  ;D

Recently got myself a Torosaurus on Ebay.

Coincidentally, I found the sculptor for some of the WWD puppets here http://www.jeremyhuntdesign.com/gallery_2/gallery_2.html

I found that he must have designed the Torosaurus that was used in the documentary, because it looks exactly like the WWD toy.

I think he was also responsible for other museum models, such as that sleeping green psittacosaurus from the NHM :)

That Psittacosaurus has been missing the last couple of times I've been to the NHM. :(

And I've noticed on the link it states the Para was for the BBC. What programme was it for?

I might be wrong, but it looks like the Parasaurolophus from the Prehistoric Park series (I've never watched it myself personally)

But PP was produced by ITV, not the beeb (even though it has some of the same people involved from WWD and even that Nigel Marven guy)

So...I dunno.

FUTABA

I was thinking it looked like the ones from Prehistoric Park but the whole ITV thing made me doubt that. Very pretty anyhow.

I just bought this used Opthalmosaurus on Ebay for a good bargin! I love it! It is my first WWD figure. I want more very badly! I want the Postosuchus the most. If anyone has that and is willing to trade/sell it in the USA please let me know through PM

[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

They are very hard to find these days. i've been told the Opthalmosaurus is the hardest to find in good condition. I have a few of them the allosaur. postosuchus, Anky, and polocanthus.

WalkingWithBeasts

I completed the Toyway collection recently (minus the Ornithocheirus obviously)

I also repainted the Schleich Allosaurus (rather badly) to look like the ones from the show (on the right)
Walking With Beasts is the best palaeo media documentary and no one can persuade me otherwise.

I have been searching for the Toyway Dinos for a while now. Thankfully I found a the Tyrannosaurus for a worthy price. It takes a while for shipping so it may be a while until I get it.

At a flea market, I found a green Placerias like the one in the bottom right of the photo. I really like it and I wonder if we should consider it an official WWD figure.
