Am I the only one disliking those "rainbow" repaints, especially on the rexes?

I am the same way, I very much dislike the rainbow rex's. The raptor repaint is alright, but I still have absolutely no interest in acquiring either of them

I like them for what they are. And to me that is just a odd interesting colorful interpretation of the rexs. just something different in the collection in my opinion

CityRaptor

I think they look colorful, but still plausible. I mean, look at Schleich's small Tyrannosaurus:
http://www.schleich-s.com/en/US/toys/tyrannosaurus_rex_small/
That one looks like it is overdoing it.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

terrorchicken

the rainbow coloring doesn't do much for me but maybe it looks better in person...

Saurox

When I bought the set, I preferred the rainbow Raptor more so than the Rex, which has since grown on me. I'll definitely be purchasing the running one.

Not me. The rainbow paint is the only reason I bought the first one and why I'm buying the Running Rex. I was always against the Papo Rexes for their blatant lack of scientific accuracy and granted, they still are as such, but at least these two new ones don't look so drab and dull.

I just realized...Did papo ever release an official stock image for the rainbow rex and rainbow raptor??? If not I find that odd considering that even the brown running rex had one but not the rainbow ones

Those actually don't look like official catalogue pictures. Where can I find the stock photo for the brown running Tyrannosaurus?

I just wish they would re release that model. Plenty of sales!

If you mean that screenshot where the cat numbers were also shown I don't think they're stock photos, look the very same images on Dan's Dinosaur listings. I think since both are limited editions they were never supposed to be featured on a catalogue, hence no need for official promo images. But that's just my guess.

Nono I'm trying to search for it but I remember it being more of a frontal angle and the stripes looked different and the figure itself looked way more detailed than what it actually is (just like every other papo stock image)

So my quest to find the stock image continues but I'm getting closer because I remember the the t rex in the stock image looked exactly like this one (as I said different stripes and more detailed) Im almost certain they used this model for the stock image because from what I remember it looks exactly like this one

-Buy the way for anyone who has a brown running rex Id love to know if yours looks anything like that one in the website because mines looks very different-

Yeah, they generally use prototypes for stock images. If you find them please post the links here, I'd be very grateful. I kind of keep those stock images in a folder as an archive.

I promise you it exsist Iv been trying to look for it but like I said its a tad hard ill keep you posted on my hunt for the picture  ^-^ ^-^ ;)

Has the baryonyx been official released on sale?
There is a German seller on eBay who has listed one

A catalogue picture of the Raptor and T.rex repaint exclusives:

As you can see, the final product turned out to be more "rainbow" >:D

Yes, it is available from some online retailers, and if I'm not wrong on Amazon Germany too.

Oh, thank you  ^-^

I think I'm going to wait a few months for it to appear in my favourite dino shop to avoid overspending

Saurox

What is everyone's opinion on the Barynoyx now that it's been released?
