I decided to peek back on the reddit thread and found this: https://twitter.com/FilmBayona/status/1003518572264656896

So it is fan made, but counts as an official poster.

Bayona states they asked the fan to design the poster for FALLEN KINGDOM, so it's definitely an official poster.

"We ask one of our biggest Jurassic fans, the super talented @NimaNeemz, to design an official poster for #jurassicworldfallenkingdom. Starting tomorrow (June 4th), if you buy your tickets on Fandango, you'll receive a free poster of this image with your purchase."

How will spoilers be handled?  :(

ITdactyl

Woke up with a swollen sprained ankle and missed today's screening (ugh).  Goodbye free ticket.

I'm a bit disappointed with the online reactions though - why can't a movie [nowadays] just be purely entertainment?  Why should it be extremely profound, earth shattering, mind blowing, life changing?  Sorry - just had to get that out of my chest.

'Still hope I'll be able to watch this weekend.
[If you're so inclined] please share any theater specific merch you might be able to snag.  The cinema I was supposed to go to gave out posters to the first 100 patrons today.

CityRaptor

It's best to watch it yourself. I also remember that JW got some bad online reviews first but later reviews have been more positive.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Here on the forum, you mean? We have a spoiler tag, so, go wild.  :)

Dilopho

Yeah, here... I hope people don't forget the spoilers, I'd love to know some thoughts on the movie but I don't want anything important spoiled for me :O

They're really mean to this one as usual...
I saw a review criticizing that they didn't change the dinosaurs designs since JW! Why would they even do that, though??

CityRaptor

Just wait for some more reviews.

Or better yet, just see the movie for yourself.I can tell you right now that there will be critics who just have it in for anything that isn't pretentious Oscar bait that is in awe of it's own importance.Complaints like there not being any major dinosaur redesigns between this upcoming movie and the last one are why I don't pay any attention to critics.
Don't you hate it when you legitimately compliment someone's mustache and she gets angry with you?

It's going to be a long wait for me, since the movie is coming out later this month for those in the US (22). I mean even if the movie is disappointing for any reason (my standards aren't exactly high here either, because of JW, and well it's a movie with dinosaurs, a dinosaur hybrid, and a volcano), there's still the JPOG successor (JW Evolution), and that decent toyline Mattel put out that has more then enough satisfied me.

My brother used my movie pass... he's a JP nut, but didn't enjoy the experience because there were too many rowdy children in the screening he attended.  He did like the film - says there's nothing new but he prefers this over the first JW.

And I confirmed that there will be a [minor] scene that I will dread seeing in the cinema [when I do get to watch it].

*edit* So sorry avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin, didn't realize the screenings here were ahead of the US.  'Was browsing the thread and just saw your post.

Didn't get to see it anyway, and when I do, no more spoilers from this guy.

Yes, same... I haven't seen it yet, I'll try and see it this weekend, but my friends warned me there's a very, uh... upsetting scene involving
Spoiler
the beloved Brachiosaurus from that iconic scene
[close]
. I don't know if it's true, but that's something that will 100% make me cry like a big bubble blowin' baby.

Be strong!!!  ;D
Gosh, it's so awkward with the release dates... Spain got to see it early, I get to see it soon and other countries have to wait more...  :-\

Faelrin

I haven't looked at what's in the spoiler there, but I'm already prepared for the worst (aka any possible heartbreaks) from all the trailers and tv spot clips I watched so far, and all the rumors that keep going around.

Oh boy, I've just got back from seeing it. What a ride.
Not the best movie they could have made, but oh SO good!!
I absolutely adore how scary the Indoraptor is in it.
