No, it's not possible at all. Neither CollectA nor Safari nor Papo nor any other company on the face of the planet can create a toy of a prehistoric animal that was only revealed to the world last week.

It's real.

Predasaurskillekor

P.S. Probably they have a time machine...  ;D Lol!
Bigger than a camarasaurus,
and with a bite more stronger that the T-Rex bite,
Ticamasaurus is certainly the king of the Jurassic period.

With Balaur feet, dromaeosaurus bite, microraptor wings, and a terrible poison, the Deinoraptor Dromaeonychus is a lethal enemy for the most ferocious hybrid too.

I assume a new batch of CollectA figures are being revealed today?  ;D

Two new ones!

Suspsy will be very happy!

I'm glad to see the Excalibosaurus myself. It looks like it doesn't have the giant circumorbital scales that the Temnodontosaurus was afflicted with. Probably the nicest ichthyosaur currently available now that the Carnegie is gone.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

Here is an article with pictures showing the next two CollectA prehistoric animal models (Excalibosaurus and Basilosaurus).

Article: New from CollectA (Part 3)

The article gives measurements and other details with regards to these models, both of which are in the "Prehistoric Life" model range.

As for availability we are expecting Excalibosaurus in the first quarter of 2017, Basilosaurus will be available later in the year.

Last of the new for 2017 CollectA models will be announced next Friday.

AcroSauroTaurus

My opinions.

Excalibosaurus: A really cool ichthyosaur that finally has a figure, and it looks great, definitely getting it!

Basilosaurus: Finally! A Basilosaurus made by one of the main companies, and it looks really good. A little on the skinny side, but thats fine with me. The barnacles are a unique touch, much like the PNSO Basilosaurus.
I am the Dinosaur King!

Nanuqsaurus

It's great to see a Basilosaurus figure by one of the bigger companies, but why do all Basilosaurus reconstructions look so shrink-wrapped? Especially the head. I mean, it's a whale, they have a lot of soft tissue right?

Perhaps not much back before baleen. They evolved from an otter-like mammal, and you don't see much spare meat on an otter.

Yeah, I find it strange as well. The CollectA basilosaurus looks a little on the thin side, Though I understand that the basilosaurus's skull doesn't offer room for a fatty melon.

I like all two models. But I like more the dinosaurs revealed before.

Not bad.
I like the Excalibosaurus but personally I would have prefer a more well known ichthyosaur like Opthalmosaurus, Cymbospondylus or a deluxe Shonisaurus.
Basilosaurus looks rather toy-ish; but it´s ok. I would like to see better pictures. Usually I would pass but for some reason Basilosaurus has got some of my attention recently, so I might add it to my list. Is cheaper than the PNSO one and the head is not as terribly skin-wrapped as that one. Of course the PNSO is superior in terms of sculpt and colors, but if I had to pick one, I would go with this one.

I'm sure the ones that are left are theropods. There has been few new dinosaurs so far, only 3 of I'm not wrong, and one it's repeated by Safari. But I'm happy for marine reptil lovers, Kronosaurus looks good and a new ichthyosaur! And also for the people who wanted a Basilosaurus  :).
Can't wait to see the final releases.

Excalibosaurus! Fantastic! I really didn't think we'd get another ichthyosaur so soon. Once again, CollectA delivers the first figure of its kind. Oh, and here is the ROM specimen mentioned in the ED article. With Temnodontosaurus beneath it, no less!

Basilosaurus! They listened to me (and probably a bunch of other people)! I especially like that they went with a light colour scheme. And wow, 35 cm long. It'll look great alongside all my other sea monsters. I just hope it's not the only prehistoric mammal we're getting next year.

Also, I don't understand why some people are complaining that it looks too thin. Basilosaurus has long been depicted as serpent-like.

Only two or three figures left then.

They are supposed to be "The best of the best" right?

There´s already two marine reptiles, so no more of those I guess.

Already a mammal, unless they do a land mammal, if not then that means the last reveals will only be dinos.  ^-^

So these are the possibilities:

-Two new dinos.
-Three new dinos.
-Two dinos and one mammal.
-A dino and a mammal.

I hope is the 2nd one. :)

They do now but the original whales were from far warmer waters, and things like blubber didn't evolve (or need to) until much later.

And according to Anthony Beeson, this one has been on his list for a long time...not sure how much the desperate voices of the masses influenced the timing (maybe it was more, the very expensive PNSO gave them a push, because no one shoudl pay that much for a toy!)

CMIPalaeo

They both look really nice! They probably won't be on my must-haves list but I'm anxious for more pictures of them soon. I'm glad CollectA gives love to more obscure animals like Excalibosaurus and Basilosaurus (being my home state's official fossil as well as just a really cool animal all-around) has always been favourite of mine. I might get this one, even though I really love the PNSO one. I just can't spend that much on any figure. Maybe the prices will go lower in the coming years.
Once a man is tired of dinosaurs, he is tired of life; for there is in a dinosaur all that life can afford.

Shonisaurus

My sincere opinion, because otherwise would be a hypocrite and with this I do not want to offend any member of the forum because it is not a personal opinion is the following: disappointment.

On the one hand I celebrate that Collecta made an excalibosaurus is a fairly dark species and I have to admit that it is very well made, but the size is quite small. On the other hand I would have liked it to have been an even darker species such as cymbospondilus or a deluxe shonisaurus (which replaced Schonich's shonisaurus).

On the other hand the basilosaurus is a species also quite dark but I really like more the figure of PNSO seems to me more finished and above all the color of that cetacean mammal I do not like I would have liked more one of dark blue color, but for each one We have our tastes. On the other hand I do not see it I repeat as detailed as the kronosaurus of the same company.

On the other hand although it remains to be revealed fourth consignment of prehistoric animals I would have liked a terrestrial mammal and a pterodactyleo and also expected to see a giganotosaurus and an apatosaurus both deluxe.

In this year unfortunately have not made many figures of dinosaurs by Collecta, I expected at least thirteen or seventeen as in the good times of megacerops.

I'm hoping for the third one. I'd like to see a land mammal. Given CollectA's unrivalled talent for ungulates, perhaps they've foregone the more familiar options like Megatherium and gone with Sivatherium or Megaloceros. That would be sweet.

I'll say this too: as much as I love the Supreme Guidraco, I wouldn't be terribly disappointed if we don't see another toy in that size class. The bigger they are, the more they cost to purchase and to ship, and the more display space they take up. A Deluxe Yi qi or Microraptor would still be big and beautifully detailed.

Anyway, we shall see next Friday.

For those wondering why Excalibursaurus--in Anthony's own words, it's a local species for him in his local museum, and CollectA has always been good with their native taxa. plus, cool shape and name.

5 are dinosaurs: Deinocheirus, Gigantspinosaurus, Einiosaurus, Regaliceratops, Styracosaurus.

I'm glad that this year is less theropod-intensive than last year! I just noticed, though, that the Excalibosaurus is only 13 cm long! That's so tiny! I have Colorata figures bigger than that. Kind of a bummer that it'll be so out of scale with my other marine reptiles, but it's not like there's a ton of Excalibosaurus figures to choose from, so I'll still get it.
