QuoteHopefully in the future Southlands Replicas will perform a Moa (for me a highly anticipated figure).

its still amazing to me that no ones done a moa figure that isn't tiny. I think this was the first animal I learned about when I read about Holocene extinct animals as a child, so Ive always wanted a figure of one.

Killekor

Killekor, thank you for sharing your photos are magnificent. Mine is still on the way.

I didn't post any photo of the Thylacoleo, Brontozaurus have posted them.

Sorry.

Killekor

I apologize to Killekor and especially apologize to Brontozaurus who has published these magnificent photographs. I congratulate you for having this masterpiece of Thylacoleo already in your hands! Great figure!

Hopefully in the future Southlands Replicas will perform a Moa (for me a highly anticipated figure).

No problem! You don't Need to apologize (to me, i don't know if Brontozaurus Is offended or not).

Killekor

Lol, I'm not offended at all. It was just a mistake.

My collection! UPDATED 21.03.2020: Dungeons & Dinosaurs!

suspsy

Just got the thylacine and the Thylacoleo. They are both fantastic and definitely in the same league as CollectA and Safari's mammals. Expect a review of one of them next week.;)

SR has teased silhouettes of four new animals on their Facebook page, but they all appear to be extant marsupials. Hopefully they'll get around to dinosaurs eventually.

Fb user: My guess would be lumholtz's tree-kangaroo  :)
Southlands Replicas: Well done, [name of the Fb user]-well that didn't take as long as I'd thought!

N.2: southern hairy nosed Wombat

Bigger than a camarasaurus,
and with a bite more stronger that the T-Rex bite,
Ticamasaurus is certainly the king of the Jurassic period.

With Balaur feet, dromaeosaurus bite, microraptor wings, and a terrible poison, the Deinoraptor Dromaeonychus is a lethal enemy for the most ferocious hybrid too.

Well even if they are not what I collect it's good to see the brand progressing. I love Australian fauna in general so I want to see how this look like in full color.

Killekor

Mee too! I Will like an ankylosaurus from them :)

Shonisaurus

I just received thylacoleo and thilacino from Soutlands replicas and they look much better physically than by the company photographs.

I hope you are encouraged to make more dinosaur figures and prehistoric animals from Australia. It would be grea  ^-^

stargatedalek

More mammals, darn...

Oceania has so many never-made (even by the ever varied Japanese companies) (extant) waterbirds and (extinct) non-dinosaur reptiles. Still hoping we get some of those.

suspsy

A little blue penguin would be very nice.

[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

Finally got the two figures! They are nicely done figures and very much worth the cost and supporting this venture.

Killekor

Here there are the final photos of the last teases! I don't know if 1 or 2 of them are prehistoric animals (certainly the Koala no), but i post them.

I like the tiger cat /quoll.

ItsTwentyBelow

I just received my figures, and I think they are very well done! :) The finish reminds me of Carnegie figures from the early 90s, but not quite so glossy.

They do look great compared to the catalog photos. Those four new figures look really good too, I hope there will be many more!

AFAIK none of these are prehistoric. The first one could be, but I think it is probably one of the tree kangaroo species. The second one is a wombat and the fourth is a quoll.

Anyway, these are quite lovely. I wonder how easy it will be to get them in the UK?

I am very sorry if I have offended you. I only intended to clarify which animals they were, and that none of them were prehistoric.
